Honda CB350 Vs Royal Enfield Bullet 350 – Here’s How They Stack Up
Royal Enfield recently launched the new-generation Bullet 350 motorcycle based on the automaker's J-Series platform. Though the Bullet 350 is not expected to match the sales figures of the Classic 350, the former is expected to significantly boost the overall sales figures for the automaker.
That being said, Honda recently launched the CB350 motorcycle, directly aimed at the Royal Enfield Classic 350. However, the Honda's new motorcycle also has to take on the new Bullet 350 and here's a quick comparison between both motorcycles.

Price
Prices for the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 starts at Rs 1.74 lakh (ex-showroom). In comparison, the new Honda CB350 motorcycle is priced at Rs 2.00 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the dual disc brake variant of the Bullet 350 is priced at Rs 1.97 lakh (ex-showroom).
Engine & Gearbox
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle uses a 349.34cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine with 19.94bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. This engine comes paired with a simple, tried-and-tested 5-speed gearbox.

In comparison, the newly launched Honda CB350 is powered by a 348.36cc, single-cylinder engine with 20.8bhp at 5,500rpm and 29.4Nm of torque at 3,000rpm. Also, this engine in the new Honda CB350 motorcycle comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox with Slip & Assist clutch.
Design
There is no doubt that the Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is an attractive-looking retro-themed motorcycle. Every design element on the Bullet 350 motorcycle complements the overall motorcycle very well. However, the Bullet 350 does lack some modern touches such as all-LED lighting technology.

On the other hand, the newly launched CB350 motorcycle follows a similar retro design theme with the incorporation of a new fuel tank and updated side panels. Other interesting design details include bigger and more retro-looking mudguards, shrouded RSU telescopic front suspension and a new retro-themed exhaust.
Features
Like the Royal Enfield Classic 350, the new Royal Enfield Bullet 350 motorcycle also comes with a short feature list, which includes the likes of ABS, electric start, part-analogue part-digital instrument cluster, and front and rear disc brakes.

In contrast, the new Honda CB350 comes much better equipped with features such as Honda Smart Phone Voice Control System (HSVCS), Bluetooth Connectivity, Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), dual channel ABS, all LED lighting, more premium-looking part-analogue part-digital instrument cluster, and much more.
Hardware
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 features telescopic suspension at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duty is handled by a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 270mm disc brake at the rear (single-channel ABS variants features 153mm drum brakes).
The Honda CB350 sports decent hardware which includes the likes of a telescopic suspension unit at the front, and a pair of nitrogen-filled shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duty is carried by a 310mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear.
