Hero MotoCorp’s First Premium Motorcycle Dealership ‘Hero Premia’ Inaugurated – Harley-Davidson, Vida & More
Hero MotoCorp recently ventured into the 'premium' category with the introduction of models such as Vida range of electric scooters, Karizma XMR, and Harley-Davidson X440.
To cater to the demanding requirements of its more premium customers and improve its customer satisfaction, Hero MotoCorp inaugurated its first-ever 'Hero Premia' premium dealership in India.
This new Hero Premia dealership is located in Calicut, Kerala. Also. this 3,000 sq.ft dealership will house sales, service and spares for its customers. Stand-out features of the Hero Premia dealerships include modern architecture, appealing design, and digital interface facility.
Out of these facilities, the digital interface includes digitally interactive modules, and virtual configurators powered by cloud technology and augmented reality - Helping the customers engage and integrate better with the brand.
Commenting on the inauguration, Ranjivjit Singh, Chief Business Officer, India Business Unit, Hero MotoCorp said, "As we open doors of our first premium dealership in India, we are not just offering a diversified display of our motorcycles and scooters, we are showcasing the future of mobility which is premium, innovative and sustainable."
That being said, the new Hero Premia range of premium dealerships will house products such as the Hero Karizma XMR, Harley-Davidson X440, and Hero Vida range of electric scooters. Thanks to the latter, we can also expect EV charging facilities.
It is also worth mentioning that the Hero Premia premium dealership will not be selling the more expensive Harley-Davidson motorcycles. That being said, upcoming motorcycles based on the X440 platform could be sold under the Hero Premia dealerships in the future.
Coming to the idea of premium dealerships, this is a concept that has worked well for brands including Maruti Suzuki with its Nexa range of premium dealerships. In fact, Nexa is now one of the biggest carmakers in India.

We expect the Hero Premia premium dealerships to also have a similar effect on its target customers by enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction. This will help the automaker improve its customer retention and referral-based customer count.
