Hero Karizma XMR Teased – To Be Launched On August 29
Hero MotoCorp has high hopes for the Karizma motorcycle, and the company is leaving no stone unturned to make this motorcycle a successful product in India. In fact, Hero MotoCorp even roped in Hrithik Roshan to capitalise on the Nostalgic factor.
That being said, Hero MotoCorp has yet again released another teaser of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle ahead of its launch in the country. In fact, the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle will be launched on August 29.
Speaking about the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR, the motorcycle will be a fully-faired model with raised tail section and split seats. This design criterion has been proved by some of the spy shots of this motorcycle.
Some of the interesting details spotted via the spy shot of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle include clip-on handlebars, rear-set foot pegs, new lightweight alloy wheels, fairing-mounted rear view mirror, telescopic front suspension, and a mono rear shock absorber.
In terms of the powertrain, the upcoming new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is expected to feature a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is likely to produce around 25bhp and 27Nm of peak torque.
On top of that, we expect this powertrain to have good mid-range performance and return a decent fuel efficiency. Furthermore, this engine is expected to come mated to a highway-friendly 6-speed gearbox.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle will sport an all-new chassis. Furthermore, this motorcycle is expected to come with features such as Bluetooth connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, LED headlights, LED taillamps, and more.
That being said, the styling of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is expected to be very youthful with sharp lines and angles. Moreover, we expect the model to have a riding position similar to the most recent iteration of the Hero Karizma ZMR motorcycle.
Thoughts: We expect the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle to be aggressively priced to attract younger riders. However, the model should also come with decent hardware to compete with models such Suzuki Gixxer SF 250.
