Hero Karizma XMR Teased Again – Features Projector LED Headlamp Setup
Hero Motocorp yet again released a new teaser of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle ahead of its launch in India. Furthermore, the latest teaser reveals the headlight of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle.
As per the visuals from the latest teaser, we expect the Hero Karizma XMR to feature 4 projector elements illuminated by LED technology. This setup is expected to give a brilliant light output as well.
That being said, the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is expected to be launched on August 29. Moreover, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan seems to have been roped in to be the brand ambassador for the model - A move to ignite the nostalgic factor.
Speaking about the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR, the motorcycle will be a fully-faired model, unlike the OG Hero Honda Karizma motorcycle which came with a half fairing. Also, unlike the first-generation Hero Honda Karizma, the Hero Karizma XMR will feature split seating.
Other noticeable changes spotted from previous spied images include a raised tail section, sporty clip-on handlebars, slightly rear-set foot pegs, new lightweight alloy wheels, fairing-mounted rear view mirror, telescopic front suspension, and a mono rear shock absorber.
Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is expected to feature a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is likely to produce around 25bhp and 27Nm of peak torque.
However, unlike most faired motorcycles sold in India, we expect this powertrain to have good mid-range performance and decent fuel efficiency as well. Furthermore, this engine is expected to come mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a tall sixth gear for effortless cruising.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle will sport an all-new chassis. Moreover, we expect the model to have a riding position similar to the most recent iteration of the Hero Karizma ZMR motorcycle.
Additionally, the upcoming Karizma XMR motorcycle is expected to come with features such as LED headlights, LED taillamps, Bluetooth connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, and many more. The latter will be equipped with features such as a gearshift indicator, DTE, and more.
That being said, the styling of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is expected to be very youthful with sharp lines and angles. Also, looking at the latest teaser of the motorcycle, we expect the Karizma XMR to sport a powerful headlight setup, which will be ideal for long-distance touring.
Thoughts: We expect the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle to be aggressively priced to attract younger riders. However, the model should also come with decent hardware to compete with other powerful models in the segment.
