Hero Karizma XMR Launch Invitation Reveals Mind-Blowing Details – More Sophisticated Than We Imagined
Hero Motocorp is all geared up to launch the Karizma XMR motorcycle in India. Now, the automaker has sent the invitation for the launch of the motorcycle which is about to happen on August 29.
That being said, the invitation for the launch of the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is quite unique and reveals plenty of features of the motorcycle. In fact, the invitation is an AV replica of the digital instrument cluster on the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle.
This replica plays the graphic layout of the digital instrument cluster on the Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle. It is also worth mentioning that this AV module also plays the exhaust note of the upcoming Karizma XMR motorcycle.
Diving into details, the AV module in the invitation confirms that the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle will sport a large full-colour digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and other features.
Along with that, the digital instrument cluster comes loaded with technologies such as a fuel efficiency indicator, a gear shift indicator, a tachometer, a speedometer, multiple trip meters, a clock, and much more. This digital instrument cluster is also flanked with tell-tale lights on both sides.
However, the most important detail is that the AV module with the invitation confirms that the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle comes with a 6-speed gearbox. Also, according to the invitation, the model is expected to have a top speed in excess of 140km/h.
Coming to the powertrain, the upcoming new Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle is expected to feature a 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This engine is likely to produce around 25bhp and 27Nm of peak torque.
Also, according to the teaser videos and spy shots, we can confirm that the Hero Karizma XMR will come with sporty clip-on handlebars, slightly rear-set foot pegs, new lightweight alloy wheels, fairing-mounted rear view mirror, telescopic front suspension, and a mono rear shock absorber.
Thoughts: We expect the upcoming Hero Karizma XMR motorcycle to be offered in multiple variants. Moreover, we expect the base variant of the Hero Karizma XMR to feature a more basic instrument cluster that is similar to the one in the Hero Xtreme 160R motorcycle.
This will help the company aggressively price the motorcycle to attract younger riders. That being said, the Karizma XMR should also offer a decent powertrain and hardware to compete with other powerful models in the segment.
