Harley-Davidson X440 Receives Price Hike - Is It Still Within Your Budget?
The Harley-Davidson X440 marks Hero MotoCorp's debut in the premium motorcycle segment, displaying their impressive engineering prowess. Hero completely designed and developed this bike in India at their Centre for Innovation and Technology, in partnership with inputs from Harley in Milwaukee.

Their goal was to build a powerful roadster instead of the typical cruiser style seen in Harley-Davidsons, and you can see this intention clearly in the bike's design.
Hero MotoCorp recently revealed that the prices of the Harley-Davidson X440 will begin at Rs 2,39,500 (ex-showroom, Delhi). All variants will experience a price increase of Rs 10,500. However, customers can still get the bike at its introductory price of Rs 2,29,000 until 3 August 2023.
Customers can make a booking by paying Rs 5,000. Harley offers the X440 in three variants: Denim, Vivid, and S. It competes with other popular models like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Triumph Speed 400.
The company plans to increase the production capacity to meet with the growing demand for the Harley-Davidson X440. Hero MotoCorp will begin manufacturing the motorcycle in September at their Garden Factory in Neemrana, Rajasthan.
Customers can expect to receive their bikes starting from October 2023, and deliveries will be done based on the order of bookings.Harley-Davidson X440 houses a new 6-speed, air-oil cooled single-cylinder 440cc engine that produces 27bhp and 38Nm of peak torque.
In terms of features, the X440 has LED lighting, a USB port to charge mobile devices and a 3.5-inch TFT display that shows a speedometer, tachometer, trip meters, odometer, service indicator and side-stand alert. Also the motorcycle gets Bluetooth connectivity with application support.
