Greaves Cotton Showcases 6 New EVs At The Auto Expo 2023 – Ampere Primus Bookings Open
Greaves Cotton showcases its prowess in the EV sector by showcasing six new electric two and three-wheelers along with electric powertrain systems at the Auto Expo 2023.
In addition to that, Greaves Cotton also unveiled its new high-speed e-scooter the Ampere Primus at the Auto Expo 2023. It is also worth mentioning that the bookings for the Ampere Primus electric scooter are currently open.
Diving into details, the new Ampere Primus high-speed electric scooter is targeted at modern millennial commuters and young families by offering decent performance and elegant styling. Some of the key highlights of the Ampere Primus e-scooter include a top speed of 77km/h and 100+ kilometres of true range.
On top of that, the Ampere Primus e-scooter can sprint to 40km/h from a standstill in under 5 seconds and comes with 4 rides - Eco, City, Power, and Reverse. Other than that, the company claims that the Ampere Primus e-scooter comes with 3 Kwh LFP battery technology with smart BMS that is phase 1, AIS 156 compliant.
It is also worth mentioning that the new Ampere Primus e-scooter comes with features such as Bluetooth connectivity, navigation and a phone app for added convenience. Additionally, the e-scooter comes with 4 exterior colour options - Himalayan White, Royal Orange, Havelock Blue & Buck Black.
In addition to the Ampere Primus electric scooter, the company showcased 5 other new product concepts at the Auto Expo 2023 to meet the demanding needs of consumers across different segments and price points. These include Ampere NXG, Ampere NXU, Greaves ELP, Greaves ELU, and Greaves Aero Vision.
Diving into details, the Ampere NXG is positioned as a sophisticated and stylish electric scooter with IoT connectivity, whereas the Ampere NXU is developed as a robust, & connected B2B electric scooter for multiple commercial applications. Moreover, the company is quick to mention that the Ampere NXU can be used as a personal use vehicle as well.
On the other hand, the rest of the three vehicles are futuristic Greaves electric three-wheelers, where Greaves ELP is positioned as a passenger e3w and the Greaves ELC is positioned as cargo e3w. Finally, the last vehicle is a futuristic cargo concept called Greaves Aero Vision.
