Ducati Multistrada V4 RS Revealed - A Hyper-Adventure Bike For The Track

Italian motorcycle manufacturer Ducati has unveiled its latest creation, the 2024 Multistrada V4 RS, a motorcycle that offers unrivalled performance and comes in a dedicated Iceberg White livery.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 RS sees the Italian firm add the Panigale V4's engine to its flagship adventure tourer model and the result is an absolute firecracker.

Providing the explosive firepower is the 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine that revs to 13,500rpm and produces 177.5bhp. The engine sports an air filter from the Panigale V4 while an Akrapovič exhaust designed especially for it helps vent its anger at the world.

The Multistrada V4 RS also sports a billet aluminium dry clutch assembly and a quick shifter (both Up and Downshifts) for its 6-speed transmission. The bike also gets four engine power modes - Full, High, Medium, and Low.

Also on offer are four riding modes - Race, Sport, Touring, and Urban - along with Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Engine Brake Control (EBC).

The Multistrada V4 RS sports a monocoque aluminium frame, a single-sided forged aluminium single-sided swingarm and a titanium subframe. The engine acts as a stressed member and the head angle has been tweaked to a sportier 25.75° compared to 24.5° on the S and Rally.

The V4 RS is equipped with fully adjustable Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 event-based hardware. This suspension setup adjusts to the rider's style, ensuring optimal performance if you're navigating city streets or tearing up the track.

When it comes to braking, Ducati has given the new V4 RS the best of its anchors on hand. The Multistrada V4 RS sports twin Brembo Stylema 4-piston callipers clamping down on 330 mm radial discs at the front and a 265mm disc at the rear that are aided by the Bosch-Brembo 10.3ME Cornering ABS system.

Providing the grip on the track and off it are Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres that are draped over the 17-inch wheels, in the 120/70 front and 190/55 rear sizes. The 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminium wheels are 2.7 kilos lighter than the units fitted to the V4 S model.
