Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally Launched In India At Rs 29.72 Lakh - The Maddest Multistrada
Italian motorcycle manufacturer, Ducati, has launched the Multistrada V4 Rally in India. Prices for the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally start at Rs 29.72 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally adventure touring motorcycle is available in two striking colour schemes - Ducati Red which is priced at Rs 29.72 lakh and Brush Aluminium Matte Black which commands a price tag of Rs 30.02 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom).
The Multistrada V4 Rally features an aggressive design synonymous with Ducati's adventure range. It sports a two-piece headlight, an adjustable transparent visor, and a secondary beak below. The sharp tank shrouds with gill-like vents, the tall and muscular 30-litre fuel tank, and the two-piece seat lend the bike an imposing presence.
Powering the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is a 1,158cc, V-4, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 170bhp at 10,750rpm and 121Nm at 8,250 rpm. The engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox and also benefits from a slip-and-assist clutch.
The Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally sports an aluminium monocoque frame, steel tube subframe and aluminium double-sided swingarm. The Rally features semi-active electronic Ducati Skyhook Suspension (DSS) Evolution with Autolevelling, Minimum Preload and Easy Lift functions that offer 200mm of travel at both ends.
Braking duties are handled by dual 300mm disc brakes clamped down by Brembo Stylema 4-piston radial callipers. The rear sports a single 265mm disc anchored by two-piston floating callipers. The brakes are helped along by cornering ABS from Bosch.
The Multistrada V4 Rally sports a staggered spoked wheel setup with a 19-inch wheel at the front and a 17-inch unit at the rear. The wheels are shod with Pirelli Scorpion Trail II - 120/70 R19 (front) and 170/60 R17 (rear).
The motorcycle boasts a comprehensive electronics package, including four riding modes - Sport, Touring, Urban, and Enduro. Other tech gubbins on the Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally include wheelie control, traction control, engine brake control, cruise control, vehicle hold control, and radar (front and rear with Blind Spot detection).
