TVS has revealed the updated iQube ST at Auto Expo 2023. The updated 2023 TVS iQube gets two new features in the form of TPMS and Voice Assist and will sit atop the iQube lineup of electric scooters.
The TVS iQube ST was first revealed with the rest of the second-generation iQube scooter lineup last year. However, due to global supply chain issues and the chip shortage, the iQube ST never made it onto our roads despite receiving quite a few bookings.
So what has changed in the 2023 model year of the iQube ST? Well, the scooter has received two major upgrades to its standard kit.
The first comes in the form of a tyre pressure monitoring system which will make it easier for riders to keep an eye out on tyre pressure and detect if a puncture has developed before it becomes too big of an issue. The second big addition to the TVS iQube ST for 2023 comes in the form of voice assist that allows you to talk with the electric scooter.
Other than these two changes the new iQube ST version remains unchanged from the electric scooter we saw last year. As always you can get a hold of a host of features through the scooter's display which can pair up with your phone using Bluetooth connectivity. Features on offer with the iQube ST include a USB charging port, turn-by-turn navigation, ride modes, call and music controls, park assist, geo-fencing and theft alert among others.
The TVS iQube ST is the most powerful version of the second-gen iQube electric scooter. The TVS iQube ST is powered by a 4.56kWh battery pack that allows for a claimed range of 145 kilometres on a single charge. With the onboard charger, the iQube ST can recuperate its charge in just over four hours.
The TVS iQube ST's battery pack is connected to a single electric motor that produces 4.02bhp of continuous power and has a peak output figure of 5.98bhp. The peak torque figure from the iQube ST's motor is 140Nm. This allows for a sprint time of 4.2 seconds from 0-40km/h and a top speed of 82km/h.
The TVS iQube ST sports telescopic forks up front and hydraulic twin shocks at the rear. braking duties are handled by a 220mm disc at the front and a 130mm drum at the rear. The TVS iQube scooter rides on 12-inch wheels shod with 90/90 tubeless tyres.
