Auto Expo 2023: Matter Concept EXE & Concept UT Electric Bikes Revealed With Removable Battery Packs
Technological start-up company, Matter showcased its Concept EXE and Concept UT bikes with removable battery packs at the Auto Expo 2023.
Diving into details, both the Matter Concept EXE and Concept UT bikes sport sharp styling and are based on the same platform. However, the Matter Concept UT bike gets a top box.
Starting with the Matter Concept UT, the bike appears to be the start-up EV maker's attempt at making the company's first adventure tourer. For this, Matter has equipped the Concept UT with dual purpose tyres, knuckle guards, and a large top box.
In addition to that, the Concept UT also gets saddle stays, and a small front visor. It is also worth mentioning that the Matter Concept UT gets neon yellow and white highlights over its dark body colour. This gives the Matter Concept UT a lot of appeal as well.
On the other hand, the Matter Concept EXE seems more like a supermoto bike. Some of its design highlights include an almost flat-looking seat with a slight step towards the end and a rather unconventional trellis swingarm. Other than that, the Matter Concept EXE also gets a pair of telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
In terms of colours, the Matter Concept EXT bike sports a striking white / neon blue colour scheme. It is also worth mentioning that the Matter Concept EXE electric motorcycle comes with Pirelli Angel GT tyres at both ends. Overall, the supermoto styling and power from the electric powertrain sure looks like a very entertaining recipe.
Other than both Matter Concept EXE and Concept UT electric motorcycles sport removable battery packs and electric motors. Along with that, both these motorcycles feature a gear lever which is rather unusual for electric vehicles. Moreover, both bikes get front and rear disc brakes where the front one is a larger petal disc unit.

Since Matter Concept EXE and Concept UT electric motorcycles are still in the concept stage, it is too soon to comment anything about these electric motorcycles. That being said, we expect both these electric motorcycles to eventually hit the Indian EV market and compete with other EVs.
