Benelli Leoncino 800 showcased at Auto Expo 2023. The Leoncino 800 is the larger sibling of the Leoncino currently on sale in India.
The Leoncino is a middleweight sport naked that features a muscular design that makes it a delight to gaze at while its parallel twin engine pushes out more than enough power to keep riders more than satisfied.
2023 Auto Expo: Benelli Leoncino 800 Specs & Dimensions
The Benelli Leoncino 800 s is powered by a twin-cylinder 754cc water-cooled engine that produces 75bhp at 8,500rpm and 67Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
The Benelli Leoncino 800 sports a trestle steel tube chassis with 50mm upside-down front forks and a monoshock at the rear with preload and rebound adjustment.
Braking duties at the front on the Leoncino 800 are handled by dual 320mm disc brakes with 4-piston callipers. The rear brake is a 260mm disc with 2-piston callipers. The brakes are aided by dual-channel ABS. The Benelli Leoncino rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are shod with Pirelli MT60 tyres - 120/70 (front) and 180/55 (rear).

The Benelli Leoncino may get its name from the Italian word for a lion cub but its muscular design means that you'll ignore this little lion at your own peril. Like every other Leoncino model the 800 sports a sculpture of a lion on the front fender. The Leoncino 800 also features a full TFT display that provides all the info a rider will ever need on the go.
The oval-shaped headlight is a full LED unit and sports the Benelli Leoncino logo at its centre. The exposed frame and the sculpted 15-lire fuel tank give the Leoncino 800 a very muscular look which is further enhanced by the chunky exhaust that sits on the right side of the bike. Like the front, the rear also sports a full LED lighting setup.
