Ather Energy Opens Its First International Retail Outlet In Nepal – Check Out The Major Expansion Plans
Ather Energy has officially inaugurated its first international experience centre, Ather Space, in Naxal, Kathmandu, Nepal. The experience centre was initiated in collaboration with Vaidya Energy, a subsidiary of Vaidya's Organization of Industries & Trading Houses (VOITH).
Since the announcement of Ather Energy entering the Nepal electric two-wheeler market, the company has witnessed an impressive response for its Ather 450X range of electric scooters from customers residing in and around Kathmandu.
Ather Energy will once again collaborate with Vaidya Energy to inaugurate another experience centre in Kathmandu shortly. This expansion plan is part of Ather Energy's strategy for Nepsl's capital city.
In addition to that, Ather Energy has ambitious expansion plans for seven other cities in Nepal. In fact, Ather Energy is aiming to set up ten outlets to better accommodate the growing EV customer base in the neighbouring country.
Coming to Vaidya Energy's role, the company will not only aid Ather Energy in the sales and servicing of Ather's products but also in establishing Ather Grids throughout Nepal, which is a very important step to gather the trust of potential EV buyers.
Ather Energy is determined to showcase the Ather 450X electric scooter to the Nepal market as a superior alternative to conventional petrol-powered two-wheelers with advantages such as immediate acceleration, efficient manoeuvrability and superior ride handling.
In addition to these characteristics, Ather Energy is particularly vocal about its AutoHold feature which is part of the Ather 450X range. This feature promises a seamless ride, specifically useful in hilly terrains as it does not allow the scooter to roll back even when the brake is released briefly.
