Ather 450X HR Homologated – EV Maker’s Second Model With ‘HR’ Suffix
Recently, a homologation document of the Ather's upcoming electric scooter was leaked online. This leaked document revealed that Ather Energy has developed a new version of the Ather 450X electric scooter.
Looking into the details, the homologation document reveals the name of this upcoming electric scooter as "Ather 450X HR". This 'HR' suffix in the Ather 450X HR is suspected to mean 'High Range'.
The homologation document also reveals that the upcoming Ather 450X HR electric scooter comes equipped with a big 3.66kWh battery pack. Thanks to the large battery pack, the upcoming Ather 450X HR electric scooter has a range of 158 kilometres (As certified by AIS 040).
It is also worth mentioning that the homologation document has revealed the power output details of the upcoming Ather 450X HR electric scooter. According to this document, the Ather 450X HP puts out 8.58bhp in Warp mode.
Also, there are other ride modes as well including Eco, Smart Eco, Ride, and Sport. Out of these ride modes, Eco is the least powerful mode producing just 2.54bhp.
That being said, the top speed of the upcoming Ather 450X HR electric scooter is expected to be the same as the outgoing Ather 450X electric scooter at 90km/h. In comparison, the top speed of the previously homologated Ather 450S HR electric scooter is rated as 80km/h.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Ather 450X HR electric scooter comes with the same Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor as the Ather 450X, 450X, and 450X Gen3 electric scooters.
Also, the leaked homologation documents of the upcoming Ather 450X HR electric scooter reveal that the model measures 1,837mm long, 739mm wide, 1,114mm tall, and sports a wheelbase of 1,296mm. Furthermore, the Gross Vehicle Weight of the model stands at 243 kilograms.
