Upcoming Ather 450S HR To Come With Bigger Battery Pack – Homologation Documents Leaked
Recently, a homologation document of the Ather's upcoming electric scooter has been leaked online. According to this leaked document, Ather Energy has developed a new version of the Ather 450S electric scooter with a bigger battery pack.
Looking into the details, the homologation document reveals the name of this upcoming electric scooter as "Ather 450S HR". 'HR' in the Ather 450S HR could mean High Range. In line with this name, the upcoming Ather 450S HR comes with a much bigger 3.7kWh battery pack.
Thanks to the larger battery pack, the upcoming Ather 450S HR electric scooter has range of 156 kilometres, which is 10 kilometres more than the outgoing Ather 450X Gen 3 electric scooter.
Additionally, according to the homologation document, the upcoming Ather 450S HR electric scooter puts out 7.24bhp in sports mode. Other modes include Eco, Smart Eco, and Ride. Out of these modes, Eco is the least powerful mode at 2.54bhp.
That being said, the top speed of the upcoming Ather 450S HR electric scooter is rated as 80km/h. In comparison, the top speed of the outgoing Ather 450S, 450X, and 450X Gen3 electric scooter stands at 90km/h.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Ather 450S HR electric scooter comes with the same Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor as the Ather 450S, 450X, and 450X Gen3 electric scooters.
Also, the leaked homologation documents of the upcoming Ather 450S HR reveal that the model measures 1,837mm long, 739mm wide, 1,114mm tall, and sports a wheelbase of 1,296mm. Furthermore, the Gross Vehicle Weight of the model stands at 243 kilograms.
In terms of features, the upcoming Ather 450S HR electric scooter will sport the same 'DeepView' segmented display as the Ather 450S model. Also, the model will come equipped with features such as a 5-way switch, turn-by-turn navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, multiple ride modes, and more.
