Ather Energy CEO Tarun Mehta teased the company's upcoming electric scooter, the Ather 450 Apex. As the name suggests, the upcoming Ather 450 Apex will be based on the 450 platform, but it will be the EV maker's flagship offering.
In fact, Mehta went on to call the new Ather 450 Apex electric scooter the "pinnacle of the 450 platform". He also revealed the new Ather 40 Apex as the fastest Ather electric scooter.
Ather also invited some of its community members to test the upcoming Ather 450 Apex electric scooter. In addition to this, the EV maker also revealed that the updated Ather 450 range of electric scooters will offer best-in-class features.
That being said, the upcoming Ather 450 Apex will be the most expensive offering from Ather Energy. At present, the Ather 450X electric scooter prices start at Rs 1.38 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the base Ather 450S electric scooter prices start at Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom).
At present, Ather Energy is keeping a tight lip about the details regarding the upcoming Ather 450 Apex electric scooter. However, we expect this upcoming model to feature a new more powerful electric motor.
To complement the more powerful electric motor in the upcoming Ather 450 Apex electric scooter, we expect the model to come with a more energy-dense battery pack as well. This will further improve the range of the upcoming Ather 450 Apex electric scooter.
