2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V Launched At Rs 1.35 Lakh
2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V launched at Rs 1,34,990 (ex-showroom, Chennai). The 2024 TVS RTR 160 4V was launched on the second day of the TVS MotoSoul event in Goa.
The new Apache RTR 160 4V sports an updated design with a new headlight and the firm's SmartXonnect connected vehicle tech along with 3 ride modes - Rain, Urban and Sport.
The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is powered by a single overhead camshaft, 4 valve, oil-cooled 157.9cc single cylinder engine that pushes out 15.42bhp at 8,600rpm and 14.14Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm in Rain and Urban modes.
Switch to Sport mode on the new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and the output from the single-cylinder engine rises to 17.3bhp at 9,250rpm and 14.73Nm of peak torque at 7,250rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The brakes are the biggest mechanical upgrade for the 2024 Apache 160 4V over its predecessor with the new motorcycle sporting a larger 230mm petal disc at the rear. The front disc is the same 270mm unit. The brakes are now aided by dual-channel ABS.
The suspension setup for the 2024 TVS Apache RTR 160 4V remains unchanged with the double cradle splitsynchro frame still suspended off telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
The new RTR 160 4V still rides on 17-inch alloy wheels. These wheels are draped in 90/90 (front) and 130/70 (rear) tubeless tyres. which TVS claims gives better grip and long-lasting performance.
YVS has opened bookings for the new 2024 Apache RTR 160 4V at its showrooms across India. Deliveries of the new 2024 Apache 160 RTR 4V will start early next year.
