2024 KTM 390 Duke Revealed – Meaner & Muscular
KTM has finally taken the wraps off the 2024 390 Duke motorcycle. This next-generation KTM 390 Duke motorcycle is expected to be launched in India before the end of 2023.
Speaking about the 2024 KTM 390 Duke, the model features the biggest update from the manufacturer since its introduction back in 2013. Moreover, like other KTM models, the upcoming 2024 KTM 390 Duke motorcycle is expected to be manufactured at Bajaj's manufacturing facility in Chakan, Pune.
Analysing the 2024 KTM 390 Duke, the upcoming motorcycle features plenty of changes including a completely redesigned chassis. Along with the new chassis, the upcoming 2024 KTM 390 Duke is expected to feature a new sub-frame as well.
Furthermore, it is also reported that the upcoming 2024 KTM 390 Duke motorcycle will feature an all-new 399cc, single-cylinder, DOHC engine. Also, this engine is expected to put out more power and torque than the outgoing model.
However, the most distinct feature of the 2024 KTM Duke 390 powertrain is expected to be longer service intervals - This will be a boon for riders who embark on long journey's in their motorcycle.
That being said, the outgoing version of the KTM Duke 390 already uses sophisticated 43mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock set up at the rear. As such, we do not expect the next-generation model to come with a similar suspension setup as the outgoing model.
The biggest talking point of the 2024 KTM 390 Duke motorcycle is its new design. The upcoming model looks a lot more muscular with its large tank shrouds and new rear section with faux air inlets.
Also, the upcoming next-generation model now marks the return of the underbelly exhaust. In terms of features, we expect the upcoming 2024 KTM 390 Duke to come with all the tech offered by the outgoing model.
Thoughts: The upcoming 2024 KTM 390 Duke motorcycle will feature a minor price compared to the outgoing model. Moreover, we expect this model to have more mature characteristics with the feel of riding a physically larger motorcycle.
