2023 Suzuki Gixxer Range Launched In India At Rs 1.40 Lakh – Check Out All Details
Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motorcycles launched the updated 2023 iterations of its Gixxer range of motorcycles in India with a starting price of Rs 1.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
Diving into details, Suzuki Motorcycle India introduced new colour options and connectivity features with the 2023 Suzuki Gixxer range of motorcycles. Furthermore, the top-spec Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 now costs Rs 2.02 lakh (ex-showroom).
At present, Suzuki's Gixxer range of motorcycles in India consists of 4 models - Gixxer, Gixxer SF, Gixxer 250, and Gixxer SF 250. Out of these models, the 'SF' models are the fully faired variants of the respective Suzuki Gixxer model range. That being said, the SF models also demand a slight premium over its naked siblings.
In terms of changes, the 2023 iteration of the Gixxer motorcycle now gets Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, Metallic Matte Black No.2, and Metallic Sonic Silver/Metallic Triton Blue colour options. Out of these colour options, both the Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF get Metallic Sonic Silver/ Pearl Blaze Orange, Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black, whereas the Gixxer 250 range gets Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Metallic Matte Black No.2 colour options.
Other than the new colour option, the 2023 range of Gixxer motorcycle come with features such as a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. Other than this, this new instrument cluster comes with features such as turn-by-turn navigation, estimated time of arrival (ETA), incoming call, missed call, SMS and WhatsApp Alert display, speed exceeding warnings, phone battery level display, and a few more features.
Mechanically, the 2023 Suzuki motorcycle range remains mechanically identical to its respective predecessors. As such, the Suzuki Gixxer and Gixxer SF continue to be powered by a 155cc, single-cylinder engine with 13.4bhp of peak power and 13.8Nm of peak torque. Also, this engine comes mated to a 5-speed transmission.
On the other hand, the 2023 Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 come powered by the same tried-and-tested 249cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine, This engine puts out a much healthier 26.13bhp of peak power and 22.2Nm of peak torque and this engine also comes mated to a 6-speed transmission
