2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 Motorcycle Launched At Rs 1.39 Lakh – USD Forks, Slip & Assist Clutch, And More

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launched the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 motorcycle in India at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). This newly launched motorcycle is expected to help the Japanese automaker boost its sales in the coming festive season.

Speaking about the new 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0, the motorcycle now sports updated graphics which helps the motorcycle look very muscular. Apart from that, the updated model now comes in 4 colour options - Pearl Igneois Black, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.

Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, "In line with the government's regulations, HMSI has been aggressively working on upgrading its product line-up to comply with the latest norms. Today marks a significant milestone as we launch the OBD2-compliant 2023 Hornet 2.0."

In terms of design, the Honda Hornet 2.0 has always been a very muscular motorcycle. On top of that, the model gets sporty split seats, a short muffler, and aggressive-looking 10-spoke alloy wheels.

Other interesting details on the new 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 motorcycle include an all-LED lighting system, beefy USD forks, aluminium footpegs, petal disc brakes on both ends and a few more.

Features-wise, the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 motorcycle comes with an engine start/stop system, hazard lights, single-channel ABS, USD forks, mono rear suspension and a fully digital instrument cluster with 5-step adjustable brightness.

The digital instrument cluster integrates additional functions such as a Speedometer, Odometer, Tachometer, Battery Voltmeter, Twin Trip Meters, Gear Position Indicator, Service Due Indicator and a Clock. The model also features safety tech such as a side stand indicator.

Coming to the powertrain, the 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 motorcycle comes powered by an 184.4cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. This engine puts out 17.03bhp and 15.9Nm of torque. It is also worth mentioning that this powertrain uses a 5-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch.
