2023 Honda CB300R Motorcycle Launched In India At Rs 2.40 Lakh
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) launched the all-new 2023 Honda CB300R motorcycle. This new motorcycle from Honda is priced at Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and complies with the latest OBD2A standards.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India's President & CEO, Tsutsumu Otani, unveiled Honda's newest premium BigWing motorcycle, extolling the CB300R's cross-continental heritage, performance, versatility, and Honda's engineering ability, design aesthetics, and prime build quality.
Yogesh Mathur, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India's Director of Sales and Marketing, referred to the new CB300R as a "Younique Move". He highlighted its unique features and dynamic road appeal, expressing confidence in its ability to attract new consumers and redefine their biking experience.
Style & Hardware
The CB300R, inspired by the retrospective CB1000R litre-class roadster, represents Honda's contemporary minimalist interpretation of the timeless roadster style. It features a robust fuel tank, an imposing upswept exhaust following the neo sports café DNA, and an all-LED lighting system for advanced styling.
Despite weighing just 146kg, the CB300R packs a punch with its agile handling. It is equipped with 41mm USD front forks and an adjustable mono-shock absorber in the rear, making it optimal for Indian road conditions. It also includes a 296mm disc brake (front) and 220mm disc (rear) with dual-channel ABS, digital instrument cluster, and trigger for emergency stop signal and hazard light. The motorcycle comes in two shades Pearl Spartan Red and Matte Massive Grey.
Engine & Performance
The heart of the new CB300R is a potent 286.01cc, 4 stroke, single-cylinder BSVI OBD2A compliant PGM-FI engine, which is more eco-friendly. The engine generates 30.70bhp and 27.5Nm of torque. Moreover, it is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox, and an assist slipper clutch which ensures smooth gear transitions and manages rear wheel lock-ups during rapid downshifts.
