2023 Honda CB200X Launched In India At Rs 1.47 Lakh: Comes With Optional 10-Year Warranty

To capitalise on the sales push achieved during the festive season in India, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) launched the updated 2023 Honda CB200X motorcycle in the country. This new motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom).

Speaking about the newly launched 2023 Honda CB200X, the motorcycle now complies with the latest BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. Along with the updated powertrain, HMSI now offers the new 2023 Honda CB200X motorcycle in 3 shades.

These colour options on the new 2023 Honda CB200X motorcycle include Decent Blue Metallic, Pearl Nightstar Black and Sports Red. Out of these three colour options, the Decent Blue Metallic is the latest offering from the Japanese two-wheeler giant.

Commenting on the launch of the new CB200X, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO of HMSI said, "Today marks a significant milestone as we launch the 2023 CB200X inspired by Honda's legendary CB legacy. Since its launch in 2021, CB200X has received tremendous response in the market and is a perfect riding companion for the customer's daily commutes as well as short weekend getaways beyond the cityscapes."

It is also worth mentioning that HMSI is now offering the new 2023 Honda CB200X motorcycle with a 10-year warranty (7-year optional warranty). However, the standard warranty of the motorcycle continues to stand as a 3-year program.

Coming to the powertrain, the new 2023 Honda CB200X motorcycle continues to draw its power from an 184.04cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. This engine in the new Honda CB200X motorcycle is tuned to produce 17.03bhp at 8,500rpm and 15.9Nm of torque at 6,000rpm.

Though the transmission in the newly launched 2023 Honda CB200X motorcycle continues to be a 5-speed unit, it now features an Assist & Slipper Clutch to prevent wheel locking while aggressively shifting down gears.

Coming to the hardware bits, the new 2023 Honda CB200X continues to feature USD forks at the front and a mono-shock absorber at the rear. Also, the model features 276mm and 220mm petal disc brakes at the front and rear, respectively.

Some of the noticeable features of the 2023 Honda CB200X motorcycle include a fully digital instrument cluster with 5 levels of adjustable brightness, all-LED lighting technology, alloy wheels, single-channel ABS, Twin Trip Meters, Battery Voltmeter, Gear Position Indicator and a Clock.
