2023 Ducati Scrambler Launched At Rs 10.39 Lakh
2023 Ducati Scrambler Launched At Rs 10.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The second generation Ducati Scrambler is offered in three guises - Icon, Full Throttle and Nightshift.
The Ducati Scrambler Icon is priced at Rs 10.39 lakh while the Scrambler Full Throttle & Scrambler Nightsift up the price to Rs 12 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).

The 2023 Ducati Scrambler lineup was revealed to the world back in November 2022 with deliveries starting in March for Europe and other international markets. The launch in India comes 6 months after the international launch of the second-gen Scrambler lineup.
All three versions of the second-generation Ducati Scrambler draw power from the firm's 803cc, air-cooled L-twin engine that pushes out 72bhp at 8,250rpm and 65.2Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with straight-cut gears, a quickshifter and a slipper clutch.

The 2023 Ducati Scrambler lineup offers a ride-by-wire throttle setup which means that the new second-gen Scramblers benefit from Ducati's traction control system. The new Gen 2 Scrambler lineup offers two riding modes - Street and Wet with the latter tuned to offer better stability when the weather gets splashy.
The trellis frame setup has been updated and is now lighter than ever and combined with the revised engine and other lightweight bits helps the new Ducati Scrambler drop 4 kilos on the scale to 185kg. The frame is suspended off a 41mm USD front fork from Kyaba and a Kayaba monoshock with a new swingarm at the rear.

The new Scrambler lineup runs on redesigned wheels that measure 18 inches at the front and 17 inches at the rear. The redesigned rims are shod with 110/80 R18 (front) and 180/55 R17 (rear) Pirelli MT 60 RS tyres.
The display on the new Ducati Scrambler is a 4.3-inch TFT unit with support for Bluetooth that allows riders to connect their phones to the bikes allowing for call and music controls.

All three variants on sale in India feature a few design details that help them stand out from the crowd. The Icon sports interchangeable sections like the fuel tank side panels, fenders, wheel tags and the front headlight covers.
The Icon also sports lower handlebars than before and three standard colour options - '62 Yellow, Thrilling Black, and Ducati Red. There are six more colour options on offer, but these are only offered as accessory kits.

The Scrambler Full Throttle is the sportiest of the three versions of the new 2023 Ducati Scrambler. Inspired by American flat track racers, the Full Throttle sports a Red GP19 / Dark Stealth colours and new saddle graphics along with the number 62 on its side panels, a nod to the year the first Ducati Scrambler hit the streets. The Scrambler Full Throttle also sports a road-legal Termignoni exhaust.
The 2023 Ducati Scrambler Nightshift goes down the cafe racer path and sports a dark Nebula Blue paint scheme and a brown seat. It also sports spoked wheels (painted black) flat-set variable-section handlebar and bar-end mirrors.

Thoughts On The 2023 Ducati Scrambler Lineup For India
The 2023 Ducati Scrambler has a bit of everything for those who love this lineup of motorcycles from the Italian marque. While the Icon lives up to its name, the Full Throttle looks racy while the Nighshift is as mean and dark as they come in the cafe racer style.
