Engine & Transmission

Powering the Yezdi Adventure is a liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 334cc engine. This engine produces a maximum power of 30bhp at 8000rpm and a peak torque of 29.9Nm at 6500rpm; paired to a six-speed gearbox.

The Adventure is the most powerful of the three motorcycles with the highest power and torque figures.



Suspension, Brakes & Frame

The ADV motorcycle uses a double-cradle frame to strike a perfect balance between weight, rigidity and cost-effectiveness.

Suspension duties on the motorcycle are handled by a telescopic fork at the front with 200 travel and an adjustable mono-shock with 180mm travel at the rear. This gives the motorcycle a ground clearance of 220mm with a rider seat height of 815mm.



Braking on the motorcycle is done via a 320mm single disc up-front and a 240mm unit at the rear supported by a dual-channel ABS. The ABS also gets three modes: Rain, Road and Off-road for various weather and road conditions.



Wheels & Tyres

The Yezdi Adventure features a 21-inch spoke rim shod with a 90/90 section tyre at the front and a 17-inch spoke rim shod with a 130/80 section tyre at the rear. Tyres feature a block-pattern tread for on and off-road use.



Design & Features

The off-road biased motorcycle features round-shaped headlamps and taillamps along with a tall windscreen that gives it the ADV looks. Adding to the ADV looks is the large 15.5-litre fuel tank, large crash guards, and a rear rack. Other designs & features include:

• Up-right rider ergonomics
• Large split seats
• LED turn-signal indicators
• Off-road biased footpegs
• USB A-Type & C-Type charging slots



The motorcycle also features a fully digital instrument console with a tilt function for enhanced visibility. The console also features Bluetooth connectivity as standard, which enables Turn-by-Turn navigation via the secondary display.

The main console offers a ton of information to the rider including a gear-position indicator, multiple trip meters, milage and more.



Accessories

The Yezdi Adventure is offered with a ton of accessories from the factory to suit long-distance touring. This includes:

• Top Pannier Box
• Auxiliary Lights
• Jerry Carns



Yezdi Roadster

As mentioned earlier, the company has also launched two more motorcycles alongside the Adventure. The Yezdi Roadster is the closest representation of the Yezdi motorcycles sold back in the day.



The Roadster uses the same engine and frame as the Adventure. However, there are several changes made to suit the segment buyers. The roadster motorcycle retails between Rs 1.98 lakh and 2.06 lakh, ex-showroom (Delhi).



Yezdi Scrambler

Next-up is the Scrambler, which sits in between the Roadster and the Adventure in terms of pricing. The Yezdi Scrambler retails between Rs 2.04 lakh and Rs 2.10 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).



The Scrambler also uses the same engine, however, it is the least powerful of the three motorcycles with the lowest power and torque figures.



Thoughts About The Yezdi Adventure India Launch

Yezdi was once a household brand in India with their motorcycles roaring the streets during the 2-stroke era between the 1960s and the 1990s. However, the brand has been revived by Classic Legends who also got us the Jawa.

The Yezdi Adventure has all the makings of a good entry-level adventure motorcycle and rivals the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan, Hero XPulse and the KTM 250 Adventure.
