TVS Ntorq ‘XT’ Becomes More Affordable? Here’s The Truth
TVS seems to have revised the prices of the Ntorq XT scooter in India as the prices for the scooter now reads Rs 97,061 (ex-showroom, Delhi) on the official website. Earlier, the ex-showroom price of the TVS Ntorq in Delhi was quoted as Rs 1,02,823 on the website.
While the updated pricing may seem like the company has slashed prices on the newly launched TVS Ntorq XT scooter. In reality, the truth is far from it as the company made a minor error on the official press release and official website by mentioning the ex-showroom prices of Bangalore instead of Delhi.
At present, TVS Ntorq is available in five different variants - standard model, Race edition, Super Squad edition, Race XP, and XT variant. In which, the newly launched 'XT' variant is the new top-end model.
Speaking about the new TVS Ntorq XT, the scooter features its own unique styling and comes loaded with lot more features than other variants of the TVS Ntorq scooter. This includes a striking dual-tone Neon Green and Black scheme and a coloured hybrid console.
In addition to that, the TVS Ntorq XT rides on all-new alloy wheels that are said to give the scooter better performance and efficiency.
With the introduction of the TVS Ntorq XT, the company is targeting a new set of audiences with the scooter's updated feature list. As part of the features list is the SmartXonnect connectivity platform with 60+ connectivity features.
Thanks to the added features, the TVS Ntorq also sports a twin digital instrument console with colour TFT display and an LCD that shows a lap timer and graphics for speed, fuel consumption, and other warning lights.
Other than this, the nelly launched TVS Ntorq XT also gets features such as SmartXtalk (advanced voice assistance), SmartXtrack (social, news, weather), and a few more features over other variants of the scooter.
Diving into details, the SmatXtalk allows the rider to interact with the scooter with voice assistance to change modes, adjust screen display and also listen to songs.
On the other hand, the SmartXtrack feature keeps the user updated regarding the weather conditions, navigation routes, news and a few more. Also, the user can also assign photos to the caller id.
TVS Ntorq XT scooter is powered by the same peppy 3-Valve,125cc engine that powers other Ntorq variants. This engine produces 9.2bhp of peak power at 7,000rpm and 10.5Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. On the other hand, the TVS Ntorq 125 Race XP puts out 10.05bhp of peak power at 7,000 rpm and 10.8Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
To improve the efficiency of the scooter, the TVS Ntorq XT also gets InteliGO start/stop technology.
