TVS Apache Range Prices Hiked By Up To Rs 2,100
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has hiked the prices of its Apache series of motorcycles by up to Rs 2,100.
Indian two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has hiked the prices of its Apache series of motorcycles. Prices across the 10 variant range of the TVS Apache series have been raised by up to Rs 2,100.
The TVS Apache lineup in India consists of four different bikes - RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 200 and the RR310. The Chennai-based two-wheeler manufacturer had recently launched the RTR 165 RP but the limited-edition homologation special has already sold out its entire quota and so is no longer available to purchase. The other 4 models are offered in a total of 10 different variants and all except for the RR310 have seen their prices jacked up by Rs 2,100. The Apache RR310 has received a minimal jump in its price tag of Rs 90.

The TVS Apache lineup in India starts with the RTR 160. The RTR 160 is offered in two-valve(2V) and 4-valve guises. Both offer the same 159.7cc single-cylinder engine with 2 valves and 4 valves per cylinder respectively. The RTR 160 2V's powerplant produces 15.3bhp and 13.9Nm of peak torque while the RTR 160 4V's engine pushes put 17.4bhp and 14.7Nm of peak torque.
Prices for the RTR 160 2V now start at Rs 1,11,740 for the drum brake version. The disc brake variant now costs Rs 1,14,740. The drum brake version of the RTR 160 4V costs Rs 1,19,378 while the Disc brake version ups that figure to Rs 1,21,485. The disc brake version equipped with Bluetooth is now priced at Rs 1,24,201 while the RTR 160 4V Special Edition now costs Rs 1,25,575. Prices of all variants of the RTR 160 have been hiked by Rs 2,100.
The TVS TVS RTR 180 is only offered in a single guise and comes powered by a 177.4cc single-cylinder two-valve engine that produces 17bhp and 15.5Nm of peak torque. The price of the RTR 180 has also been hiked by Rs 2,100 and the bike now retails at Rs 1,18,690.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 is offered in two guises - Single Channel ABS and Dual Channel ABS - both of which have seen their prices hiked by Rs 2,100. The RTR 200 is powered by a single cylinder four-valve engine producing 20.54bhp and 17.25Nm of peak torque. The TVS RTR 200 4V (Single Channel ABS) variant is now priced at Rs 1,38,190 while the Dual Channel ABS model now costs Rs 1,43,240.
The final and most powerful bike in the TVS Apache lineup is the RR310. Unlike its other siblings, the RR310 is a faired bike. The engine powering the RR310 is a single cylinder 4-valve unit displacing 312.2cc. The RR310's engine cranks out 34bhp and 28Nm of peak torque. The RR310 has only been hit with a very marginal price hike of Rs 90 and now costs Rs 2,59,990.
