Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Specs & Dimensions
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is powered by a 660cc liquid-cooled, 12 valve, dual overhead camshaft, inline 3-cylinder engine that produces 80bhp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. The engine is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.

The Tiger Sport 660 sports a tubular steel perimeter frame chassis. To take care of the rough stuff the Sport 660 features a 41mm Showa upside down front fork with 150mm of travel at the front and a Showa mono shock with preload adjustment at the rear (also with 150mm of travel). The bike also features a twin sided steel swingarm.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 rides on 17-inch cast aluminium wheels shod with 120/70 ZR 17 (front) and 180/55 ZR 17 (rear) tyres. Braking duties are handled by dual 310mm disc brakes with Nissin two-piston sliding callipers at the front and a single 255mm disc brake with Nissin single-piston sliding calliper at the rear. Braking is aided by dual channel ABS.

The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 measures 2,071mm long, 834mm wide and has a 1,418mm long wheelbase. The height of the Tiger Sport 660 measures between 1,315mm and 1,398mm depending on the position of the front screen.

The Tiger Sport 660's seat sits 835mm above the ground and the bike weighs in at 206 kilogrammes (wet weight). The Tiger 660 Sport's fuel tank can hold 17.2 litres of fuel.

Triumph Tiger Sport 660 Design & Features
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660's design is quite different from its larger siblings. The Tiger Sport 660 features a half-fairing that plays host to sharp and sleek dual headlamps. The Tiger 660 Sport features a large adjustable windscreen. The heavily sculpted fuel tank gives the Tiger 660 Sport a muscular look.

The Tiger 660 Sport also features a stainless steel 3 into 1 header setup with a low single sided stainless steel silencer that ends just behind the front right footpeg. The rear end of the bike features grab rails on either side for the pillion rider and dual taillights.

The Tiger Sport 660 features a digital display which is partly TFT and partly LED. The Sport 660 gets two riding modes (Road and Rain), switchable traction control and will be available in three dual tone colour options - Lucerne Blue/ Sapphire Black, Graphite/ Sapphire Black and Korosi Red/ Graphite.

Thoughts On The Triumph Tiger Sport 660
The Triumph Tiger Sport 660 sees the British brand duke it out once again in the middleweight sports tourer segment in India currently dominated by the Japanese bikes like the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT. By keeping the pricing close to its Japanese rivals, Triumph has ensured that its latest Tiger has a chance to claw its way into being a winner.
