Out of the three variants of the motorcycle, the top-spec, fully-kitted 'Pro M Sport' variant of the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle costs Rs 24.55 lakh (ex-showroom, India), whereas the mid-spec 'Pro' variant of the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle costs Rs 22.15 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Colours
For 2023, BMW Motorrad has even introduced new colour options on the BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle. These new colour options on the upcoming BMW Motorrad superbike include the likes of exciting and complimenting colour options such as Racing Red, Blackstorm Metallic, and Light White.
Design
In terms of design, the BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle gets a sharper-looking front section along with new winglets borrowed from the more track-focused BMW M 1000 RR motorcycle. There is also a new tail section along with a newly revised chassis for better lateral flexibility.
Chassis
Diving into the details, the steering rake angle on the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle has been relaxed to 23.6 degrees instead of 23.1 degrees (previous model). Further complimenting this relaxed steering geometry is a slightly offset and lowered (3mm) triple clamp. Thanks to these changes, the trail has now been increased to 99mm from 94mm (previous model).
On top of all these changes, BMW Motorrad has also went changed its wheelbase, which now stands at 1,457mm. This along with the newly revised swingarm with adjustable pivot and modified steering geometry has resulted in a more stable version of the BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle. The resulting motorcycle is a slightly slower steering 2023 BMW S 1000 RR.
Powertrain
In terms of powertrain, the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle now sports an uprated 999cc, inline, 4-cylinder petrol engine capable of pushing out 206.5bhp of peak power at 13,750rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 11,000rpm. The resulting additional 3bhp of power is courtesy of the new revised intake geometry and intake funnels on the 2023 iteration of the superbike.
Moreover, the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle sports a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch and bidirectional quick-shifter. Along with these, the BMW S 1000 RR motorcycle also comes equipped with other advanced rider aids such as Brake Slide Assist, Slide Control Function, Cornering ABS, Traction Control (TC) and multiple ride modes.
