Bajaj has recently launched the Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition in India and here are the top things about the 125cc motorcycle.
Price & Variants
The newly launched Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition motorcycle is available in two variants - Single seat, and Split seat. The single-seat variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition costs Rs 89,254 (ex-showroom, India), whereas the split-seat variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition is priced at Rs 91,649 (ex-showroom, India).
Colours
Like the Neon variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125, the newly launched Carbon Fibre Edition of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 comes with two colour options. However, the colour options are different from the ones offered in the Neon variant of the motorcycle and the colour options on the Carbon Fibre Edition of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 motorcycle include Red, and Blue.
Changes
In terms of changes, the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition comes with carbon fibre stickering on the belly pan, front fender, tank, and rear cowl of the motorcycle. This makes the motorcycle look a bit more sporty.
Powertrain
The newly launched Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition motorcycle continues to be powered by the same 124.4cc, single-cylinder, BS6-compliant engine that powers the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon. This engine produces 11.64bhp of peak power at 8,500rpm and 10.80Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm.
On top of that, the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition motorcycle comes equipped with the same tried-and-tested 5-speed gearbox that also does its duty in the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Neon variant.
Tyres, Suspension & Brakes
Unlike other 125cc motorcycles in the segment, the newly launched Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition motorcycle comes with 17-inch wheels at both ends shod with 80/100-section tyres at the front and slightly wider 100/90-section tyres at the rear.
At the front, the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition motorcycle comes with a telescopic suspension set-up, whereas the rear comes with a twin gas shock.
The drum brake variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition motorcycle comes equipped with a 170mm drum brake at the front and a slightly smaller 130mm drum brake at the rear. In comparison, the disc brake-equipped variant comes with a larger 240mm disc at the front for better-stopping prowess.
Dimensions & Fuel Tank Capacity
In terms of dimensions, the single-seat variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition motorcycle measures 2,055mm long, 755mm wide, and 1,060mm tall. In comparison, the split-seat variant of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition is 13mm shorter in length but 10mm wider. On top of that, the split-seat variant of the motorcycle is about 2 kilograms heavier than the single-seat variant, which weighs 140 kilograms.
Other than that, both variants of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition sport a ground clearance of 165mm and sport a wheelbase of 1,320mm. Also, the fuel tank capacity of the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Carbon Fibre Edition is rated at 15 litres.
