As the year comes to an end, we take a look back at the year that was 2022. We got into the saddle of quite a few motorcycles as we put in the miles to see if new bikes were up to the mark for the everyday rider.

Honda CB300F - Streetfighter With Supernanny ABS
Honda's latest entrant in the 300-350cc segment was the CB300F naked streetfighter. The CB300F sports a rather tractable engine, and traction control and loves to go around corners. However, the supernanny version of ABS added by Honda to the streetfighter can be annoying as is the stiff ride. The CB300F's price tag is perhaps its biggest handicap.
TVS Ronin - Unscripted Retro Cruiser
TVS looked at its script this year and decided to toss it out of the window as it decided to push the envelope with the Ronin. This Ronin may look retro but it comes packed full of tech and TVS is looking to build a community around the bike with apparel and other gear in what appears to be a direct potshot at Royal Enfield.
Royal Enfield Scram 411 - Scrambling Down A New Path
The Royal Enfield Scramm 411 is a derivative of the Himalayan ADV and saw the retro masters head down a route they had never trodden before - scrambler. The Scram 411 is brilliant off-road and its road manners are rather nice as well. All this makes the Royal Enfield Scram 411 a rather fun bike to ride anywhere you wish to.

The first new-gen Pulsar after the 250s arrived in the form of the Bajaj Pulsar N160 in July. While it may look like its larger N250 sibling, the Pulsar N160 is a totally different kettle of fish when it comes to its job. Bajaj has positioned the N160 as a sporty commuter and that's exactly what this bike is.

A new player in the motorcycle market is always good news. Chinese-owned Italian brand Moto Morini sure popped a big surprise with its X-Cape 650X ADV which has the ability to really take on the rough stuff while also being a brilliant bike on the tarmac.
