The top 5 list of India's best-selling scooters saw the Honda Activa continue to dominate the segment. The TVS Jupiter came in a distant second while the final podium spot was occupied by the Suzuki Access.

While the three commuter-focused scooters captured the podium spots, the final two scooters on this list were the sporty Ntorq and Dio from TVS and Honda respectively. So, let's take a look at the top 5 best-selling ICE scooters sold in India in the month of October 2022...

1) Honda Activa - 2,10,623 Units

Honda's Activa lineup of scooters continued to dominate the Indian scooter market with the Japanese two-wheeler giant selling 2,10,623 units last month.

Year-over-Year sales of the Activa rose by 7.08 per cent (13,924 units) compared to the same period last year. Honda sold 1,96,699 units of the Activa in October 2021.

2) TVS Jupiter - 77,042 Units

The TVS Jupiter was the second best-selling scooter in the Indian market last month with 77,042 units finding new homes. Sales of the Jupiter were up by 6.76 per cent (4,881 units) compared to October 2021. TVS sold 72,161 units of the Jupiter scooter in the tenth month of 2021.

3) Suzuki Access - 49,192 Units

The Suzuki Access rounds off the podium with the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer selling 49,192 units of the scooter last month. Year-over-Year sales of the Suzuki Access were up by 5.90 per cent (2,742 units) compared to October 2021 when 46,450 units were sold.

4) TVS Ntorq - 31,049 Units

The Ntorq is the second TVS scooter on this list and 31,049 units of the sporty 125cc scooter last month. Sales of the TVS Ntorq were up by 20.85 per cent (5,356 units) compared to October 2021 when 25,693 units were sold.

5) Honda Dio - 24,134 Units

The second Honda on the list is its sporty-looking 110cc Dio scooter. Honda sold 24,134 units of the Dio last month. Sales of the Dio were down 5.88 per cent (1,507 units) Year-over-Year. In October 2021, 25,641 units of the Honda Dio found new owners.

India's scooter market continues to be dominated by the Honda Activa and we don't think this is going to change anytime soon, which for Honda is a very good thing.
