The Honda Activa continued its dominance of the scooter market with the Suzuki Access and TVS Jupiter taking up the final two podium spots. Let's take a look at the top 10 bestselling scooters from November 2022...
1) Honda Activa - 1,75,084 Units
The Honda Activa continued its dominance of the Indian scooter market outselling the next 7 scooters on this list. Honda sold 1,75,084 Activas last month which was a Year-over-Year gain of 41.1 per cent (51,002 units) compared to the 1,24,082 scooters sold in November 2021.
2) Suzuki Access - 48,113 Units
The Suzuki Access pipped the TVS Jupiter to the second spot last month with the Japanese manufacturer selling 48,113 units of the scooter in November. Y-o-Y sales of the Access rose by 5,632 units or 13.26 per cent compared to the 42,481 units sold in the 11th month of 2021.
3) TVS Jupiter - 47,422 Units
TVS sold 47,422 units of the Jupiter in November 2022. Sales of the TVS Jupiter rose by 3,283 units or 7.44 per cent Y-o-Y compared to the 44,139 units sold in November 2021.
4) Hero Pleasure - 19,739 Units
Hero's first entrant into the top 10 list is the Pleasure with the nation's largest two-wheeler manufacturer 19,739 units of the scooter last month. Y-o-Y sales of the Pleasure rose by 8,603 units or 77.25 per cent compared to the 11,136 units sold in November 2021.
5) TVS Ntorq - 17,003 Units
The sporty Ntorq 125 is the second offering from TVS on this list with the Chennai-based firm selling 17,003 units in November 2022. Sales of the TVS Ntorq rose dropped by 11.24 per cent (2,154 units) compared to the 19,157 units sold in November 2021.
6) Honda Dio - 16,102 Units
The Dio is the second Honda on this list with 16,102 units of the scooter finding new homes last month. Sales of the Honda Dio rose by 7,580 units or 88.95 per cent compared to the 8,522 units sold last month.
7) Hero Destini - 15,411 Units
Hero's second offering on the list comes in the form of the Destini. Hero sold 15,411 units of the Destini last month which was a 372.15 per cent (12,147 units) rise over the same period last month. Hero sold only 3,264 units of the Destini in November 2021.
8) Yamaha RayZR - 10,795 Units
Yamaha sold 10,795 units of the RayZR scooter last month. However, sales of the RayZR were in the red dropping by 12.55 per cent or 1,549 units compared to the 12,344 units sold in November 2021.
9) TVS iQube - 10,056 Units
The iQube is the only electric scooter on this list with TVS selling 10,056 units of the EV last month. Sales of the iQube rose by 1,338.63 per cent or 9,357 units compared to the 699 units sold in November 2021.
10) Yamaha Fascino - 9,801 Units
Round of the top 10 with 9,801 units sold In November 2022 is the Yamaha Fascino. Y-o-Y sales of the Fascino rose by 19.5 per cent or 1,599 units compared to the 8,202 units sold in November 2021.
