Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition Launched In India: Priced At Rs 86,500
Suzuki has launched the Standard Edition of Suzuki Avenis 125 in India and the 125cc scooter is priced at Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom, India).

The launch of Suzuki Avenis has been very beneficial for Suzuki Motorcycles in India, as the sales of the Avenis 125 scooter has helped the Japanese brand get some additional traction in the highly competitive Indian scooter market.

Though Suzuki has previously introduced Ride Connect Edition and Race Edition of the Avenis 125 scooter, the increased demand for the Avenis 125 has pushed Suzuki to launch the Standard Edition of the Avenis 125 scooter.

At Rs 86,500 (ex-showroom, India), the Suzuki Avenis Standard Edition is approximately Rs 3,000 less expensive than other variants of the Suzuki Avenis 125 scooter.

In terms of design, the Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition looks sharp and the overall design of the scooter is reminiscent of other scooters like the TVS Ntorq, Yamaha Ray ZR, and Honda Dio.
Apart from that, the motorcycle-inspired turn indicators and the body-mounted LED headlamps add a lot of youthfulness to the design of the scooter.

Speaking about the launch of the Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition, Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said, "It turned out to be true as we got phenomenal response from the customers for Avenis. In fact, today Avenis has become one of the high selling products from the house of Suzuki Motorcycle India. The introduction of the Standard Edition of Avenis is an effort from the company to provide Gen Z customers with more options to choose from."

In terms of features, the Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition comes with features such as an external fuel filler, LED headlights, LED taillamps, large underseat storage and a few more.

However, the Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition misses out on features such as turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call alert, SMS alert, missed call and unread SMS alert, WhatsApp message alert, and a few more.

Powering the Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition is powered by the same 125cc engine and produces 8.7bhp of peak power and 10Nm of peak torque.

Moreover, the four colour options on the Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Editions are Metallic Matte Black / Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey / Metallic Lush Green, Pearl Blaze Orange / Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Mirage White / Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey.

Thoughts About The Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition
The Suzuki Avenis 125 Standard Edition is a sporty looking scooter with sharp styling, decent performance, and good fuel efficiency. Moreover, being Rs 3,000 less expensive than other variants of the Suzuki Avenis 125, the Standard Edition of the 125cc scooter will attract more buyers and increase sales numbers for Suzuki Motorcycles in India.
