Simple One Electric Scooter Delivery Date Revealed: Improved Version Of Electric Scooter Coming Soon
Simple One electric scooter deliveries are to begin in June 2022. The much-awaited Simple One electric scooter will be delivered to those who booked it, starting from June 2022. Simple Energy also claims that its scooter has undergone several changes and improvements in the few months since its debut in August 2021.
The EV industry in India is on the rise and it is quite easy to lose count of all the EV manufacturers in the country. In such a situation, if an EV startup is making a mark, it is indeed quite a big deal. Simple Energy is one such electric vehicle manufacturer. The brand made headlines last year when it launched the Simple One electric scooter.
If the company's claims are anything to go by, the Simple One is one of the fastest electric scooters in India. With a claimed range of 236 kilometres, it is also the electric scooter that delivers the highest range per charge.
The Simple One is powered by a 4.5kW motor that gets its juice from a 4.8kWh battery. It gets a split battery system with one battery that is fixed and another that is removable. This gives users the convenience of swapping batteries and removing the battery to charge it remotely while also giving them the reliability and strength of a fixed battery.
The BLDC motor boasts a torque output of 72Nm and it is the only scooter in the country to feature a chain-drive system. Performance is top-notch with the scooter doing the 0-40km/h run in just 2.9 seconds, and it will go on to hit a top speed of around 105 km/h.
Simple Energy also offered the Simple Loop which is its fast-charging network. Using this network, users can get 2.5 kilometres' worth charge in just 60 seconds. Now, keep in mind that all of these are claims that the brand made at the time of launch and we are yet to experience the scooter in the real world.
Now, we have an idea of when we would be able to experience the Simple One in the real world. Suhas Rajkumar, Founder and CEO of Simple Energy put out a tweet confirming that deliveries would begin across multiple cities in June 2022.
He also went on to mention that the brand has worked on improving the scooter instead of rushing to mass-produce it. More information regarding these 'upgrades' will be shared in the coming days.
The Simple One is also one of the best-looking scooters out there. There are a lot of design cues that look like they have been derived from competitors, but they all come together to form a super stylish scooter.
