Shema Electric Unveils 3 e-Scooters At EV India Expo 2022 - Eagle Plus, Gryphon & Tuff Plus
Odisha-based electric vehicle manufacturer Shema Electric has unveiled the Eagle Plus, Gryphon and Tuff Plus electric scooters at EV India Expo 2022 in Greater Noida.
Odisha-based electric vehicle manufacturer Shema Electric has unveiled the Eagle Plus, Gryphon and Tuff Plus electric scooters at EV India Expo 2022 in Greater Noida.
The three new electric scooters from Shema Electric are all categorized as high-speed e-scooters and are expected to be launched in the month of October. Shema Electric currently has 5 low-speed electric scooter offerings on sale in India.
The first of the three high-speed scooters unveiled at the EV India Expo is the Shema Electric Eagle Plus. The Eagle Plus is powered by a 1.2kW BLDC motor that is kept topped up by a 3.2kWh lithium-ion battery pack. Shema Electric claims that the battery of the Eagle Plus takes between 3.5 to 4 hours to fully charge and delivers a range of 120 kilometres. The Shema Electric Eagle Plus e-scooter has a claimed top speed of 50km/h.
The Shema Electric Gryphon e-scooter features a larger 4.1kWh lithium-ion battery which delivers a range of 130 kilometres on a single charge. Charging the battery pack on the Gryphon e-scooter takes between 3.5 to 4 hours. The Shema Electric Gryphon is powered by a more powerful 1.5kW brushless DC motor that allows the new e-scooter to hit a top speed of 60km/h.
The third and final e-scooter unveiled at EV India Expo 2022 in Greater Noida was the Tuff Plus which Shema Electric claims is best suited for last-mile deliveries. The Tuff Plus electric scooter from Shema Electric has a top speed of 60km/h thanks to the grunt provided by the 1.5kW Brushless DC motor. The Shema Electric Tuff Plus delivers a range of 130 kilometres thanks to Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery pack which takes 3.5 to 4 hours to completely charge up.

When the three e-scooters arrive in October, customers will be able to purchase them at Shema Electric's current crop of 40 dealerships in four different states across the country.
