Royal Enfield’s New Teaser Reveals More Details About Its Upcoming Cruiser Motorcycle
Royal Enfield is gearing up to unveil its upcoming cruiser motorcycle on the 8th of November at the EICMA 2022 held in Milan, Italy. Now, ahead of its unveil, Royal Enfield has released yet another teaser of its upcoming cruiser motorcycle.
The latest teaser clearly reveals the rear portion of the Royal Enfield's upcoming cruiser motorcycle against a starlit sky in the background. Apart from that, the teaser image also features a very bright meteor, hinting that the upcoming cruiser motorcycle could be named 'Super Meteor 650' by the manufacturer.
Diving into the details of the new image, the upcoming cruiser motorcycle from Royal Enfield features twin exhaust pipes positioned at either side of the motorcycle. Apart from that, these exhaust pipes are positioned straight without any upward tilt.
Other details on the upcoming Royal Enfield cruiser motorcycle include a circular theme on design elements such as tail lamps, turn indicators, rear-view mirrors, instrument cluster, and tailpipes. Though the headlight of the upcoming Royal Enfield cruiser motorcycle is not yet revealed, the motorcycle is most likely to sport a round headlamp.
It is also worth mentioning that the upcoming Royal Enfield cruiser motorcycle sports a large teardrop-shaped fuel tank and a well-sculpted rider seat. Moreover, if we look closely at the new teaser image, the upcoming Royal Enfield cruiser motorcycle comes with what appears to be the same digital-analogue instrument cluster and Tripper navigation system as the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 motorcycle.
That being said, the upcoming Royal Enfield cruiser motorcycle will sport the same 650cc, parallel-twin petrol engine from the Royal Enfield Continental GT650 and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycles. This engine currently produces 47bhp of peak power at 7,100rpm and 52Nm of torque at 5,250rpm in the Royal Enfield Continental GT650 and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 motorcycles. Moreover, this powertrain comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Apart from the powertrain, the upcoming Royal Enfield cruiser motorcycle will include many mechanical bits from other 650cc Royal Enfield motorcycles such as the Continental GT650 and Interceptor 650 motorcycles. This includes the likes of suspension and braking components as well.
Royal Enfield has high expectations for this upcoming 650cc cruiser motorcycle and it is likely to be the company's flagship product when launched. Speaking of which, we expect Royal Enfield to launch the model around January 2023 with a price tag of around Rs 3.30 lakh, ex-showroom.
Thoughts About Royal Enfield's Upcoming Cruiser Motorcycle
With the launch of Royal Enfield's 650cc cruiser motorcycle, the company will be not only able to attract a lot of customers to its dealerships across the country, but it will also allow Royal Enfield to explore international markets, which are mostly dominated by Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
