Royal Enfield Scram 411 Launch On 15 March: 5 Things You Should Know
Royal Enfield is gearing up for the launch of the much-awaited Royal Enfield Scram 411 in India. The Himalayan-based scrambler-style motorcycle will be launched on 15th March 2022. So, here are five things you should know about the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411.

Design
In terms of design, the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 continues to use the retro theme from the Royal Enfield Himalayan and clearly flaunts its roots to the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

Noticeable elements on the Royal Enfield Scram 411 that shows resemblance to the Royal Enfield Himalayan include a round headlamp, fork gaiters, upswept exhaust, and fuel tank. However, unlike the Royal Enfield Himalayan, the headlamp unit is not a fixed unit.
The most noticeable changes in the design of the Royal Enfield Scram 411 includes a pair of small fuel tank shrouds at the front, lack of windshield and a single-piece grab rail at the rear.

Powertrain
As we know that the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 is essentially a road-biased Royal Enfield Himalayan, we expect the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 to be powered by the same 411cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine from the Royal Enfield Himalayan.

However, there are chances of this engine receiving a different tune-up. In the Royal Enfield Himalayan, this engine produces 24.3bhp of peak power and 32Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Tyres
The upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 will be more road-biased compared to the Royal Enfield Himalayan. This means Royal Enfiled will ditch the off-road friendly 21-inch front wheels in favour of more road-biased 19-inch front wheels for a more balanced approach to on-road and off-road performance.

In addition to that, the rear wheels will be a 17-inch unit as standard and both wheels will be spoked wheels.
Brakes
Braking duties on the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 is likely to be handled by a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear, and we also expect Royal Enfield to offer Dual-Channel ABS with Super Moto mode.

Features
Recently, the leaked brochure of the upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 revealed some of the features that will be made available in the production motorcycle. According to the leaked brochure of the Royal Enfield Scram 411, the Himalayan-based scrambler motorcycle comes with an updated instrument console, dual-channel ABS, aluminium sump guard, Tripper navigation system, etc.

Thoughts About Royal Enfield Scram 411
The launch of the Royal Enfield Scram 411 will further extend Royal Enfield's dominance in the 350+cc segment in India. In addition to that, the Royal Enfield Scram 411 is an attractive motorcycle and it is more likely to be a runaway success for the company, and we expect Royal Enfield to position this motorcycle below the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
