The Okinawa Okhi 90 is powered by a single mid-mounted electric motor which drives the rear wheel with the help of a belt-drive setup. The electric motor has a maximum power output of 3,800 watts (5.08bhp). This allows the Okhi 90 to reach a top speed of 80-90km/h.

The electric motor on the Okinawa Okhi 90 draws power from a 3.6kWh lithium ion battery pack that can be removed from the scooter allowing owners to charge it wherever they wish to.

The battery pack allows the Okhi 90 to run for 160 kilometres on a single charge. The Okhi 90's battery pack can be charged to 80 per cent in just one hour. However, a full charge can take between 3-4 hours. Okinawa Autotech offers a three year warranty on both the battery pack and the electric motor.

The Okinawa Okhi 90 electric scooter measures 2,220mm long by 1,160mm tall. The e-scooter is 710mm wide and its wheelbase measure 1,520mm long. Ground clearance offered by the Okinawa Okhi 90 is 175mm. The Okhi 90 electric scooter has a maximum loading capacity of 250 kilometres.

To take care of the rough stuff, the Okinawa Okhi 90 features telescopic front forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes on both wheels which are assisted by an electronic ABS system and also allow for regenerative energy harvesting to charge the scooter on the go.

The Okinawa Okhi 90 rides on 16-inch alloy wheels, which it claims are the largest in its class. These alloys are shod in 100/80-16 (front) and 120/80 9 (rear) tubeless tyres.

The Okinawa Okhi 90 features a rather conventional design. Up at the front, the electric scooter features a large LED headlamp, the design of which is inspired by the EV maker's logo.

Also seen up at the front are large Daytime running lights and indicators, both of which are full LED units. The rear of the scooter sports a LED taillight along with a grab rail for the pillion rider.

The Okinawa Okhi 90 comes packed with a host of features including a large 40-litre boot, a glovebox for additional storage and a USB port to charge your mobile devices.

Other features include a side stand sensor, a digital speedometer, automatic locking, anti-theft alarm, GPS for real-time tracking, and a find my device system. Most of these features can be accessed using the Okinawa Connect App.
