Log9 Materials Signs To Provide Ideanta Ventures With Rapid Charging EV Batteries

Advanced EV battery technology startup Log9 Materials has entered a long term partnership with Ideanta Ventures which will see the former supply RapidX battery packs for the latter's 2 & 3-Wheeler EV platforms.

Log9 Materials and electric-mobility-as-a-service solutions provider Indeanta Ventures Pvt. Ltd. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding which will see the two companies work together for the next 3 years. As per the terms of the partnership, the two companies will deploy 15,000 Rapid EVs (both 2 and 3-wheelers) powered by Log9's InstaCharge battery-technology across various parts of India including Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Pune among others.

Speaking on the collaboration, Kartik Hajela, Co-Founder & COO, Log9 Materials said, "We are happy to announce a collaboration with Indeanta with the objective to mainly integrate their electric fleets at scale with Log9's batteries, which in turn will go a long way in minimizing the downtime of these vehicles, optimizing delivery cycles, and more importantly, offering Power, Performance and Peace of Mind to the end-users. Furthermore, the strategic partnership would also help to strengthen both companies' market positing and expansion for the short-term and enable them to scale across India and the world over the long term. Together Log9 and Indeanta hope to push to transform the delivery and logistics ecosystem of the nation towards a more responsible and sustainable model."

Indeanta claims to be India's first multimodal electric-mobility-as-a-service provider that provides end-to-end electric mobility services to clients on multiple platforms with a versatile and easy-to-use mobile application. Ideanta is currently focusing on its in-campus and logistics-delivery models, and currently has 200 EVs serving clients including IIT-Mumbai, Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, St. Aloysius College (Autonomous) Mangalore, and Yenepoya (deemed-to-be) University Mangalore, amongst others.

Ideanta's partnership will allow it make use of Log9's RapidX batteries which claims to provide 9x faster charging, 9x better performance, and 9x battery life. Ideanta will also be able to access Log9's InstaCharge battery tech that brings down the total charging time allowing for optimizing the utilization of charging infrastructure and operational profitability of fleets. Log9 claims its batteries are built to operate across -30° to 60° C and come with an operational life of 15,000+ cycles.

Log9's latest partnership sees the advanced battery tech startup partner up with Ideanta. The partnership will see the two companies work together to deploy 15,000 EVs over the next three years as they look to capture the in-campus and last-mile delivery electric vehicle markets.
