Log9 Materials Collaborates With Jitendra New EV Tech: New Electric Scooter Can Be Fully Charged In 15 Minutes
Log9 Materials has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Jitendra New EV Tech. This new partnership will mainly encompass rolling out the JMT 1000HS Rapid electric scooter with Log9 InstaCharge battery technology.

Speaking about the JMT 1000HS electric scooters equipped with the Log9's InstaCharge technology-enabled RapidX battery pack, it has been primarily designed for last-mile logistics in mind to deliver 'superior' profitability for fleet operators in the country.

Apart from that, thanks to the use of InstaCharge technology in the battery packs, the JMT 1000HS electric scooter can be fully charged in just 15 minutes with 10+ years of battery life, and 82kms of range, claims the company.

One of the major advantages of using the RapidX battery pack on electric vehicles is the charging time. The reduced charging time of the InstaCharge technology vastly reduces downtime and maximises delivery efficiency.

Where an average electric scooter can take 2.5hours to charge at a cost of 7 to 10 deliveries, the electric scooter with the RapidX battery pack can charge in just 15 minutes. While this may seem like a small number, for a delivery company with 100 electric scooters taking two shifts of charging can result in a cumulative downtime of almost 250hours costing 1400-2000 deliveries per day.

Speaking about Log9's InstaCharge battery pack, the company claims the batteries can charge 9X faster, have 9X battery life and also provide 9X performance. Apart from that, the company also claims that these battery packs can operate between temperatures ranging from -30°C to 60°C.

Speaking about the collaboration, Mr Kartik Hajela, Co-Founder & COO of Log9 Materials said, "We are pleased to partner with Jitendra New EV Tech for the integration of Log9's battery packs and InstaCharge technology into the Rapid EV 2Ws manufactured by them. As a Responsible Energy pioneer, we are confident that our InstaCharge batteries on JMT scooters will provide the much-needed Power, Performance and Peace of Mind for the B2B last-mile delivery sector and shall further help the cause of reducing operational costs as well as lowering emissions footprint for the delivery and logistics sector."

Recently, Log9 Materials had also collaborated with IIT-Delhi to promote superlative research and development in the areas of developing advanced battery and energy storage solutions. According to Log9 materials, the company has already signed a three-year strategic collaboration with the Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART) at the IIT-Delhi.

As per Log9 Materials, Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation Foundation has agreed to facilitate long-term collaboration as they will work on a variety of academic and industry-oriented projects in the coming years.

Earlier, Log9 Materials had announced its partnership with Spareit, through which the company will launch its battery replacement and retro fitment service. With this partnership, Log9 Materials will be rolling out its battery replacement and fitment service through the SpareIt service network across the country.

Thanks to this partnership, it will give Log9 Materials access to 100+ EV-friendly garages in India with access to electric vehicle charging points in eight cities.
