Speaking about the upcoming Hop Oxo electric motorcycle, the startup EV maker unveiled the motorcycle in March this year and the pre-booking amount for the electric motorcycle was capped at Rs 999.

Looking at the upcoming Hop Oxo electric motorcycle, the EV sure does look very distinct and the battery pack does look a bit too big and disproportionate. However, there are a few elements that look familiar such as the headlight which resembles that of the Yamaha FZ-Fi version 2.0 motorcycle.

Though the hardware specifications of the upcoming Hop Oxo electric motorcycle are yet to be fully revealed, from the released images we can conclude that the upcoming electric motorcycle features a telescopic front suspension, dual rear shocks, and the electric motorcycle also seems to sport a sophisticated Trellis frame.

In addition to these features, the upcoming Hop Oxo electric motorcycle also sports disc brakes at both ends of the electric motorcycle. Moreover, the electric motorcycle also comes with stylish-looking alloy wheels.

The Hop Oxo electric motorcycle uses a hub-mounted electric motor, as a result, the motorcycle is devoid of any belt or chains to transfer power to the wheels. This not only gives the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle a clean look, but it also reduces the number of moving parts and reduces maintenance costs as well.

Another distinct feature of the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle is its LED DRLs. These LED DRLs unlike other motorcycles are not mounted near the headlight or integrated with the headlight, but they are positioned on the faux fuel tank of the electric motorcycle.

At the rear, the Hop Oxo electric motorcycle also seems to use a single seat set up with a stepped pillion seat that is designed to look like split seats from certain angles. Also, the pillion rider gets stylish yet comfortably large split grab rails as well.

When launched, Hop Oxo electric motorcycle will compete against other electric motorcycles in the Indian two-wheeler market such as the Revolt RV400, Tork Kratos, and Obenn Rorr.

Given its competitors, we expect the upcoming Hop Oxo electric motorcycle to have a topspeed of around 100km/h and also sport a range of 120km to 140km on a full charge. We expect Hop Oxo to price its upcoming electric motorcycle around Rs 1.20 lakh, ex-showroom.

Though a new company, Hop Oxo Electric already has more than 140 touchpoints in India and the upcoming electric motorcycle will be sold through these touchpoints across the country. Moreover, the company is growing at a rapid rate as 60 new dealerships have been opened in the last 6 months alone.

Hop Oxo Electric has high hopes for its upcoming electric motorcycle and with such a rapid expansion, we do expect decent sales figures from the company once the electric motorcycle has been launched.
