New Hero Xpulse 200T 4V Launched In India At Rs 1.25 Lakh
After many speculations and teaser images, Hero Motocorp has finally launched the long-awaited Hero Xpulse 200T 4V motorcycle in India.
The new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V motorcycle has been launched in the country as the facelifted version of the Hero Xpulse 200T motorcycle and the motorcycle is priced at Rs 1.25 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Speaking about the newly launched Hero Xpulse 200T 4V, this motorcycle is the more road-biased version of the Hero Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle. Thanks to this road-biased setup, the new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V motorcycle is more suitable for those looking for a peppy city-friendly motorcycle with decent touring capabilities for occasional long rides.
Speaking about capabilities, the new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V is powered by a 199.6cc, 4-valve, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, BS6 engine that is capable of producing 18.83bhp of peak power at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. Moreover, this engine comes mated to the same 5-speed transmission as the Hero Xpulse 200 4V motorcycle.
In comparison, the previous version of the Hero Xpulse 200T motorcycle uses a 199.6cc, 2-valve engine with 17.85bhp of peak power at 8,500rpm and 16.15Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. This makes the new 4-valve powertrain around 6 per cent more powerul than the older 2-valve engine, which ultimately results in an even more relaxed motorcycle at higher speeds.
The new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V motorcycle is available in three colour options - Matt Funk Lime Yellow, Matt Shield Gold and Sports Red. On top of that, the motorcycle also sports a few cosmetic upgrades such as a belly pan, fork gaiters, new fly screen, and a new dual-tone seat.
Other than that, the new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V motorcycle comes with a variety of features starting with the LCD instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and other functions such as turn-by-turn navigation, a gear indicator, a trip meter, service reminder and more such. However, it could have been more future-proof if Hero equipped the motorcycle with a slightly larger LCD unit.
Thoughts About The New Hero Xpulse 200T Motorcycle
With the launch of the new Hero Xpulse 200T 4V, we expect the motorcycle to click well with its target audience and also attract more buyers to the showroom. That being said, this new launch will help Hero Motocorp to further extend its market share in the country.
