2022 Hero Destini 125 Xtec Launched At Rs 79,990

The 2022 Hero Destini 125 Xtec features a few updates compared to the model it replaces. The 2022 Destini 125 Xtec sports a tweaked design with more chrome along with a new LED headlight. The other visible change is the new paint scheme - Nexus Blue.

Mechanically, the 2022 Hero Destini 125 Xtec remains unchanged compared to its predecessor. The Destini 125 Xtec continues to draw power from an air cooled, single cylinder petrol engine that produces 8.70bhp at 6,750rpm and 10.2Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. The Destini 125's engine is mated to a CVT gearbox.

The Hero Destini 125 Xtec features telescopic shock absorbers up front and a single coil mono shock setup at the rear. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes on both ends that are assisted by an integrated braking system. Both wheels measure 10 inches and are shod with 90/100 - 10 tyres.

The Hero Destini 125 Xtec sports a semi-digital instrument binnacle with a side stand indicator that cuts off the engine if the side stand is deployed. The semi-digital binnacle also has Bluetooth connectivity for call and SMS support.

Other features include engine idle stop start system (which Hero calls i3s), a USB charging port to keep your mobile devices fully charged and a backrest for the pillion rider.

Hero has updated the Destini 125 Xtec with a few cosmetic features for the 2022 model year. Whether these changes will help the Hero Destini 125 perform better in the 125cc scooter segment is only something the sales reports will tell us in a few months.
