Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak Launched At Rs 31.48 Lakh - Multistrada Gone Mad

Bookings for the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak are now open across all Ducati dealerships in New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kochi, and Kolkata. Deliveries will start in November.

Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak Specs

Ducati claims the new Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is not only the sportiest Multistrada ever but that it is the most powerful motorcycle in the crossover segment.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak is powered by Ducati's 90-degree V4 Granturismo engine that displaces 1,158cc engine and produces 167.6bhp at 10,500rpm and 125Nm of peak torque at 8,750rpm. The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak's fuel-injected engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox with straight-cut gears and a quickshifter for both up and downshifts.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak sports an aluminium monocoque frame suspended by a 48mm fully adjustable upside-down Ohlins fork at the front and an Ohlins TTX36 fully adjustable monoshock at the rear and an aluminium swingarm.

Both the front and rear suspension components feature electrically controlled compression and rebound damping with the rear monoshock also getting electronic preload adjustment. The adjustable Ohlins setup allows for 170mm of travel.

Braking duties on the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak are handled by twin 330mm discs at the front that are clamped down by radially mounted Brembo monobloc 4-piston callipers. The rear wheel is stopped by single 265mm disc clamped down 2-piston callipers.

The Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak rides on 17-inch Marchesini forged aluminium wheels which help save 2.7 kilos compared to the V4 S. The wheels are shod with Pirelli's Diablo Rosso IV tyres (120/70-17 front 190/55-17 rear).

The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak features an adjustable seat that can move between 840mm and 860mm above the ground. The Pikes Peak's wheelbase is 2,595mm long and the bike weighs 239 kilos and it can carry 22 litres of petrol.

The Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak features its own unique livery. This livery dubbed Pikes Peak by Ducati is inspired both in colours and graphics by that of the Desmosedici GP '21 MotoGP bike and the bike also sports black wheels. There are quite a few parts on the bike that are made from carbon fibre while the Akrapovic exhaust is made using Titanium.

Other features on the Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak include the 6.5-inch TFT dashboard which sports the Ducati Connect system allowing owners to quickly check the phone book, answer incoming calls, and listen to some music using the phone's mirroring function. The dashboard also features Sygic's GPS navigation app.

The V4 Pikes Peak also sports Riding Modes, Power Modes, ABS Cornering, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, DRLs, Ducati Cornering Light, Vehicle Hold Control, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Blind Spot Detection among many others.
