BMW G310RR Bookings Open Ahead Of Its Launch In India
BMW Motorrad has opened bookings for its upcoming G310 RR motorcycle ahead of its launch in India. Apart from that, the bookings for the new BMW G310 RR can be made online as well as at authorised dealerships across the country.
With the launch of the BMW G310 RR, it looks like BMW Motorrad is looking forward to further improving its market share in the Indian two-wheeler market. In order to do so, BMW Motorrad has already confirmed that the upcoming BMW G310 RR motorcycle will make its official debut in India on 15 July 2022.
Apart from that, the deliveries of the upcoming BMW G310 RR motorcycle will be carried out on a First Come First Serve basis to reduce complications in production and deliveries.
Also, a point worth mentioning is that the upcoming BMW G310 RR is not only an attractive motorcycle, but the motorcycle manufacturer has also worked out some very lucrative finance schemes for the motorcycle.
Though the BMW G310 RR motorcycle is considered an entry-level premium motorcycle in India, the German two-wheeler manufacturer seems to have introduced very lucrative offers for the motorcycle with EMIs starting as low as Rs 3,999.
Apart from that, BMW Motorrad has released various teasers of the BMW G310 RR and as per the teased images, the motorcycle looks very similar to the TVS Apache RR310. This is expected as both motorcycles share many components.
However, we do expect a few changes in the tuning of the powertrain and suspension of the motorcycle. We also expect, BMW to offer something 'premium' compared to the Apache RR310 motorcycle in order to justify the premium badging on the motorcycle.
Apart from that, we expect BMW Motorrad to price the BMW G310 RR at a premium to the TVS Apache RR310. Thanks to this premium price tag, we expect some additional features as well.
From the teaser images, the biggest differentiator between the upcoming BMW G310 RR and TVS Apache RR310 is the paint job as both manufacturers offer their own exterior colour options.
The BMW G310 RR gets the brand's signature white paint job with blue and red 'M' style graphics.
The BMW G310 RR will be powered by the same 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that powers the TVS Apache RR310. This engine in the TVS Apache RR310 produces 34bhp of peak power at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm.
Moreover, this engine will come mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. However, we are not sure whether both motorcycles will share the same ratios.
When launched, the BMW G310 RR will compete against the likes of other motorcycles such as TVS Apache RR310, KTM RC 390, and Kawasaki Ninja 300.
Thoughts About The Upcoming BMW G310 RR
The launch of the BMW G310 RR in India could be a sign that the German two-wheeler manufacturer is looking forward to expanding its business in the country. If BMW Motorrad prices the G310 RR close to Apache RR310, it could be a game-changer for the company in India.
