BMW Delivers 1,000 Units Of G 310 RR Motorcycles In 100 Days

In addition to that, the German two-wheeler manufacturer has also claimed that more than 2,200 bookings were collected for the BMW G 310 RR motorcycles during this festive season.

Commenting on the BMW G 310 RR's success in India, Mr Vikram Pawah, the President of BMW Group India said,"As the third member of the BMW G 310 family, the first-ever BMW G 310 RR has achieved a stunning level of success in its segment. Earlier, BMW had launched two other motorcycles under the BMW 310 model series - BMW G 310 R and BMW G 310 GS. While the BMW G 310 R is a naked motorcycle, the BMW G 310 GS an ADV.

At present, the bookings for the new BMW G310 RR can be made online as well as at authorised dealerships across the country and the deliveries of the motorcycle will be carried out on a First Come First Serve basis to reduce complications in production and deliveries.

The BMW G 310 RR is powered by the same tried-and-tested 313cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that powers the TVS Apache RR310 motorcycle. This engine produces 34bhp of peak power at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm. Moreover, this engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch.

While the BMW G310 RR motorcycle has to compete against the likes of other established motorcycles such as the TVS Apache RR310, KTM RC 390, and Kawasaki Ninja 300, BMW Motorrad has proved that the motorcycle has successfully fended against its rivals with strong sales figures. - Further improving its market share in the Indian two-wheeler market.

It is also worth mentioning is that the success of the newly launched BMW G310 RR is not only because it is an attractive and capable motorcycle with plenty of brand value, but the motorcycle manufacturer has also worked out some very lucrative finance schemes with EMIs starting as low as Rs 3,999.
