Best Selling Two Wheelers In FY2022: Splendor & Activa Continue To Be Favourites
Here is the list of best selling two-wheelers in India in FY2022, and like always, the Hero Splendor dominates the sales chart. However, the overall sales figures are down as two-wheeler sales figures stay below the 1 crore mark.

Hero Splendor (26,65,386 units)
The Hero Splendor continues to be the best selling two-wheeler in India as the company manages to sell 26,65,386 units in the last financial year. This sales performance of the motorcycle has resulted in YoY growth of more than 8 per cent as the company managed to sell 2,04,214 units more compared to the previous financial year.

Honda Activa (17,08,305 units)
The Honda Activa continues its popularity in the Indian scooter segment by selling 17,08,305 units in FY2022. However, the YoY sales figure for the scooter has dipped by almost 12 per cent as the company managed to sell more than 19 lakh units in the previous financial year.

Hero HF Deluxe (11,65,163 units)
The Hero HF Deluxe becomes the third best selling two-wheeler in India as the Indian automaker manages to sell 11,65,163 units in FY2022. However, the popularity of the two-wheeler has clearly taken a hit as the YoY sales figures are down by almost 30 per cent.

Honda CB Shine (11,01,684 units)
The Honda CB Shine is still India's favourite 125cc motorcycle as the Japanese automaker manages to sell just over 11 lakh units of the motorcycle in FY2022. Moreover, the YoY sales have also increased by more than 11 per cent compared to FY2021.

Bajaj Pulsar (7,77,044 units)
The Bajaj Pulsar is a long-standing name in the Indian two-wheeler market and Bajaj sold 7,77,044 units of Pulsar motorcycles in FY2022. However, the popularity of the Pulsar seems to have taken a minor hit as YoY sales dipped by more than 1.68 lakh units compared to the previous financial year.

Bajaj Platina (5,75,847 units)
The Bajaj Platina has carved out a reputation as one of the most fuel-efficient motorcycles in the country and thanks to rising fuel prices, the popularity of Bajaj Platina has increased by almost 28 per cent as the company managed to sell 5,75,847 units in FY2022.

TVS Jupiter (5,04,567 units)
The TVS Jupiter continues to be the best selling model for the South Indian automaker. In FY2022, TVS sold 5,04,567 units of TVS Jupiter scooters across India. However, YoY sales indicate that the popularity of the model is on the decline as sales figures are down by more than 6 per cent.

TVS XL100 (4,73,150 units)
The TVS XL is a popular moped in rural sections of the country and it is the second best selling TVS in FY2022 as the company managed to sell 4,73,150 units. However, the popularity of the moped is down by more than 23 per cent as EV mopeds are becoming more popular in Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities.

Suzuki Access (4,60,596 units)
The Suzuki Access is the best selling Suzuki model in FY2022 as the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer managed to sell 4,60,596 units of Access scooters in FY2022. Moreover, the popularity of the 125cc scooter is o the rise as the model registered more than 10 per cent growth in FY2022.

TVS Apache (3,25,598 units)
The TVS managed to sell 3,25,598 units of Apache motorcycles in FY2022. Though the company has officially registered a decline in YoY sales, the decline is negligible as YoY sales numbers were down by just 46 units.

Thoughts About Best Selling Two Wheelers In India In FY2022
Though few models have shown positive growth, the overall YoY sales figures are down by more than 7 per cent as the overall sales figures for best selling two-wheelers are down by almost 8 lakh units.
