Best Selling 350cc Motorcycles In India - May 2022

Royal Enfield Classic 350 (29,959 units)

In May 2022, Royal Enfield managed to sell 29,959 units of its Classic 350 motorcycles in India. This resulted in Royal Enfield Classic 350 motorcycle becoming the best-selling 350cc motorcycle in the country by a considerable margin.

Thanks to this strong performance, the YoY sales for the Classic 350 motorcycle improved by almost 224 per cent compared to its performance in May 2021, when the company managed to sell just 9,239 units.

Royal Enfield Meteor 350 (8,209 units)

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is a very comfortable motorcycle and it is a favourite among many riders for its excellent touring capabilities. The motorcycle has almost become a default choice for anyone looking for a long-distance tourer.

As a result, the YoY sales figures for the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 increased by 143 per cent in May 2022 as the company managed to sell 8,209 units.

Royal Enfield Bullet 350 (6,958 units)

The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 is one of the oldest motorcycle nameplates in India and the model has a very loyal fan base in the country.

Despite its age, many youngsters prefer the Bullet 350 and in May 2022, Royal Enfield sold 6,958 units of Bullet motorcycles in India. Moreover, the YoY sales for this motorcycle have gone up by more than 53 per cent, as the company managed to sell 2,401 units more compared to its previous year's performance.

Royal Enfield Electra 350 (3,769 units)

Royal Enfield sold 3,769 units of Electra 350 motorcycles in May 2022. While the figures may seem comparatively lesser than other Royal Enfield models, it is more than a decent figure for a 350cc motorcycle in the country.

Thanks to solid sales performance, the YoY sales for the motorcycle increased by more than 78 per cent as the company sold 1,657 units more compared to sales figures in May 2021.

Honda CB350 Twins (3,308 units)

The Honda CB350 motorcycles have been giving decent competition to Royal Enfield motorcycles in India and the models are also gaining decent traction in the Indian two-wheeler segment.

It is amazing to see Honda delivering such good sales figures despite the model being sold through the Honda Big Wing showrooms. In May 2022, Honda sold 3,308 units of the Honda CB350 range of motorcycles in India, resulting in a YoY sales increase of almost 673 per cent.

Thoughts About Sales Performance Of 350cc Motorcycles In May 2022

Looking at the numbers, it is clear that Royal Enfield has the lion's share of the 350cc segment in India. However, Honda is also improving its market share, but Honda has to significantly increase the production of CB350 twins and dealerships to come anywhere close to the sales figures of Royal Enfield.
