Bajaj has launched the new Platina 110 ABS motorcycle in India at Rs 72,224 (ex-showroom, India). This newly launched motorcycle now comes with Anti-Lock Braking System.
Pune-based two-wheeler manufacturer Bajaj has launched the new Platina 110 ABS motorcycle in India at Rs 72,224 (ex-showroom, India).
As in the name, the newly launched Bajaj Platina 110 ABS now comes with Anti-Lock Braking System which prevents the brakes from locking up when braking hard. This makes the 'Bajaj Platina 110 ABS' the first motorcycle in its segment to feature ABS.
The newly launched Bajaj Platina 110 ABS motorcycle comes with features such as a digital speedometer which comes equipped with additional features such an integrated ABS indicator, gear position indicator and a gear change indicator. It is also worth mentioning that the newly launched Bajaj Platina 110 ABS motorcycle comes with a single-channel ABS unit.
Other noticeable features on the newly launched Bajaj Platina 110 ABS motorcycle includes telescopic front suspension, alloy wheels, gas-charged twin rear shocks, clear lens headlamp, LED DRL, front disc brake and a few more. Moreover, the new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS motorcycle comes with four new colour options - Gloss Pewter Grey, Cocktail Wine Red, Ebony Black, and Saffire Blue.
Powering the newly launched Bajaj Platina 110 ABS motorcycle is a 115.45cc, single-cylinder engine with 8.54bhp of peak power at 7,000rpm and 9.81Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. Moreover, the new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS motorcycle comes with a 5-speed gearbox.
The newly launched Bajaj Platina 110 ABS motorcycle competes against the likes of other commuter motorcycles in India such as the Honda CD 110 Dream Deluxe, Hero Passion Pro, and TVS Star City Plus. It is also worth mentioning that the new Bajaj Platina 110 ABS is Rs 3,680 more expensive than the drum-brake equipped variant of the motorcycle.
Thoughts About The New Bajaj Platina 110 ABS
Though the government mandates the use of ABS on two-wheelers displacing more than 125cc, it is a much-welcomed gesture from Bajaj Auto to launch a 115cc motorcycle equipped with the ABS feature. This is a very positive gesture, and we hope to see more two-wheeler manufacturers following this practice.
