Ather Energy Partners With Gujarat Titans: Signs Multi-Year Partnership

With this strategic partnership, Ather Energy branding will be seen on the front of the Gujarat Titans' official team jerseys.

This will give Ather brand unprecedented exposure, which is essential to brand planning a major expansion in the coming years.

According to Ather Energy, the brand has 30 experience centres across the country. However, as part of the expansion plans, Ather Energy plans to open 150 experience centres across India by March 2023.

Apart from this, Ather Energy also plans to increase the annual production capacity to 1 million units in the next 3 years.

At present, Ather Energy has been steadily growing in the auto industry with its presence in 24 cities. Ather also expanded last year with showrooms in cities like Kochi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Tiruchy, Visakhapatnam, Jaipur, Kozhikode, Ahmedabad, New Delhi, Indore, and Nashik.

Speaking about the Ather electric scooter, the all-electric scooter looks very futuristic and sophisticated with its well-built with sharp and clean lines. Moreover, the tall front-end neatly integrates the LED headlamps, which gives the Ather electric scooter a tall yet agile stance.

At present, Ather Energy retails two electric scooter models in the country - Ather 450 Plus and Ather 450X. While the Ather 450 Plus is powered by an adequately powerful 5.4kW electric motor with 22Nm of torque, and a 2.4kWh Lithium-ion battery pack, the Ather 450X uses a more powerful 6kW electric motor with 26Nm of torque and comes with a larger 2.9kWh battery pack.

According to Ather Energy, the Ather 450 Plus can cover 70 kms on a single charge and takes just 10minutes to add 10 kms of range when using a suitable DC fast charger.

Whereas the more powerful Ather 450X can do 80kms on a fully charged battery pack and the charging time in the Ather 450X has also been reduced significantly as it takes just 10 minutes to add 15 kms of range.

In terms of similarities, both the Ather 450 Plus and Ather 450X come with a water-resistant 7-inch touchscreen instrument display that uses an Andriod-based OS, Google maps, telescopic front suspension, 12-inch wheels, 22-litres of underseat storage, and many more.
